COULDN'T SEEM TO GET MYSELF INTO GEAR TODAY

Every Friday night at precisely 8:15 I phone my Aunt Jean in Sarasota Florida and last night was no exception.  Wait a minute, last night wasn't Friday it was Thursday.  No it wasn't.....yes it was!!  Aunt Jean 92 in July and I'm 74 and of course she was right but as I write this Saturday morning....wait what!!  For most of Thursday I had thought it was Friday and Friday being 4 days before Sunday how could I be wrong.  Seeing how it's Wednesday now I'll have to re-think this whole thing sometime before Mondyless Tuesday rolls around next week.

Despite our nice weather day I couldn't seem to get myself into gear.  Pheebs and I did take a drive over to the Hullett Marsh but I didn't have the energy for a walk.  No interest in going anywhere so we were soon home again.  Aside from doing a few small things outside I did spend a chunk of time in my recliner giving into the overall feelings of tiredness bordering on fatigue.  Luckily every day is not like that but when they do come along they sure knock the stuffings out of me.
THERE ARE A NUMBER OF ROADS LEADING INTO THE HULLETT MARSH AND THIS ONE I CALL 'APPLE TREE LANE'
SAW A PAIR OF MUSKRATS AT THE MARSH

THEY MIGHT GET THEIR NAMES FROM THE LONG RAT LIKE TAILS

SOON AS THE MUSKRAT SAW ME IT DOVE UNDERWATER

Kelly's Bayfield Doctor, after reviewing her 'bone density' test called her a few days ago to come in this morning and go over the results.  An hour later Kelly was at Goderich's Alexandria Marine Hospital having a spinal x-ray done to check for spinal compressions.

DANDELIONS ARE GOING TO SEED
NO IT DIDN'T SNOW
As long as I had the big plastic jugs on the bird station Little Red didn't make a landing but as soon as I removed them she was on that feeder like gangbusters Thursday morning.  I had a couple pieces of old plastic eaves troughing lying around so cutting a couple pieces to fit I screwed them onto the feeder to form a barrier like the plastic jugs had sorta done.  Glanced out the window a couple hours later and there was Little Red perched right on top of the feeder ripping and tearing at the suet holder.

MANY OF OUR LILACS ARE STILL NOT FULLY OUT
GROANER'S CORNER:((   An 8 year old girl went to the office with her father on 'Take your kid to work Day'.As they walked round the office she started crying and getting cranky. Her father asked what was wrong. As the staff gathered round she sobbed loudly, "Daddy, where are all the clowns you said you worked with?"

There was this man who muttered a few words in the church and found himself married. A year later he muttered something in his sleep and found himself divorced.

  1. That little red sure is persistent, Maybe a wall on that side of the feeder, the birds would still have 3 more sides
