IT HAPPENED ONE DARK OCTOBER NIGHT

THESE ARE A FEW OF TO-DAY'S PHOTOS

Decided for the sake of variety I'd reach back into my little bag of blogs & pull out one I wrote nearly a year ago. In other words my brain seems to missing on a few cylinders to-night. I was reminded of this blog to-day when I saw what appeared to be a large pink colored bird circling over our front yard frog pond early this morning. It took me back to an event which occurred near where we live, began with a telephone call from Canada's east coast, & had me out silently skulking about on a darkened October night.............. 1. I understand someone living in a wooded area has set aside part of the woods as a pink flamingo cemetery. I read that she gets them at yard sales or anywhere she can find them, and friends will also go out and pick them up and send them to her cemetery. That must be a kick.

Thanks for the fun story from before we knew you!

  2. As always loved your pictures of the birds... You take the best wildlife pictures... And the flamingos were a riot! They do that a lot in Florida... Have a great day and thanks for coming to visit me...
