Al's Music Box:)) How Deep Is Your Love by the Bee Gees from the album, 'Saturday Night Fever'. 1977 Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys spoke positively of the song, stating, "I always liked the Bee Gees very much. 'How Deep Is Your Love' is ... one that I think is really great ... I turn the radio up a little bit when it comes on."
GROANER'S CORNER:(( Here's a great exercise for one's arms. Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side. With a 5-lb potato sack in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, and then relax. Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer. After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-pound potato sacks. Then try 50-pound potato sacks and then eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-pound potato sack in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. (I'm at this level.) After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each of the sacks.

Teacher: "Your spelling is really improving, Henry. I only counted three mistakes."
Henry: "That's great!"
Teacher: "And now, let's check the second sentence."

Like yourself, we are learning, "Getting old is not for Sissies".
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
You're getting a lot more done than some younger folks I know so don't be too hard on yourself. Love that little yellow RV :-))
ReplyDeleteJust came over from the Furry Gnome’s blog. You did a lot of yard work, it looks like a tree you hauled in the back of your vehicle. I need to cut some of the wild shrubs that have been growing in the back yard but it’s still too warm here in Nashville. When it gets below 90s F (33 C) maybe it will be time…
ReplyDeleteLove the talking-to-myself joke. I constantly talk to myself in stores. I hope most people think I am wearing an earphone, but I am actually talking always either to God or to my beloved mother who is in Heaven. I am forever needing their advice!
