We woke up to a solid cloud cover but that's okay because at least it wasn't a freezing cold snowy blowy day in the middle of January or something terrible like that. However, with Sunday afternoon's rain, it wasn't the best long weekend for campers. Today for me, turned out to be a very lazy day.

Al's Music Box:)) Rock The Boat by The Hues Corporation from the album 'Freedom For The Stallion'. 1973. I once co-owned a piece of property overlooking the west side of Okanagan Lake in British Columbia. While working at cleaning up this forested property I would always park my car close by with the doors open and the radio booming out the tunes. It is this song that I would hear often and when I hear it now it takes me right back to those sunny early 70s Okanagan days.
GROANER'S CORNER:(( During his physical, the doctor asked the patient about his daily activity level. He described a typical day this way: 'Well, yesterday afternoon, I waded along the edge of a lake, drank eight beers, escaped from wild dogs in the heavy brush, jumped away from an aggressive rattlesnake, marched up and down several rocky hills, stood in a patch of poison ivy, crawled out of quicksand and took four leaks behind big trees.' Inspired by the story, the doctor said, 'You must be one heck of an outdoorsman!' 'NAH,' he replied, 'I'm just a crappy golfer.'

I've tried those natural bug repellants and they don't work for me--one I've used is Bug-b-Gone. Unfortunately I'm such a mosquito magnet I have to use the deet ones.
