IMAGINE THAT....ME TALKING TOO MUCH!!

A PASTORAL SCENE ON THE WAY TO OUR WALKING SPOT THIS MORNING
Today was our Park's annual garage sale.  Last year we (Kelly) had a lot of items for sale but this year we had just one and it was parked at the head of our driveway with a 'For Sale' sign on it.  Not exactly a garage sale item but with a number of people coming into the Park for the sale we thought we might as well park our Class C Winnebago where people could see it.  One never knows who is driving by and might be interested or know of someone who might be interested in an RV.

HERE'S SCOOTER PARKED AT THE END OF OUR DRIVEWAY FRIDAY EVENING
I had pre-parked the Jeep Friday night on our lot where we park our utility trailer so that Pheebs and I could get out for our Jeep ride in the morning without having to move the RV.  As it turned out, during today's garage park sale, several people stopped and expressed an interest in our Class C.  We think there is a very good chance that the first couple who stopped just might buy it.  They are coming back Sunday to test drive it.  And, wouldn't you know it......it's probably going to be raining:((

It was a beautiful sunny Saturday morning as the furry Kid and I slipped out for our country road walk.  From there we headed right home again and I hauled the Subaru out for a wash and clean-up while making myself available to answer any questions about the motorhome.  But only if Kelly needed me to answer something that is.  She is the main selling person in our house and makes me stay inside.  She says I talk too much.  Imagine that, me talking too much.  Who would have ever thunk it.  It just don't figure I tell ya:((

 OUR WALKING ROAD EARLIER TODAY
Talking with my Aunt Jean by phone in Sarasota Florida Friday night it was obvious she is quite happy with her new digs.  She said the food is so good that she is eating too much.  Extra pounds for Jean would be a good thing because it would mean she could finally go outside on windy days without blowing away.  She has decided to keep her car for a while because in her words it is the last touch of freedom she has left.  She may not drive it much but at least she knows it's out there in the parking lot if she should decide to take a cruise along the beach or head on up to I-75 and put the pedal to the metal and blow some carbon out.  Her room is small but using a shoe horn she managed to fit most everything in that she wanted.  I think she is adapting well.  However, I don't think she will be joining in with the social club's line-dancers and weekly pickle-ball tournaments though.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( A Few Gin Jokes::

A gorilla goes up to a bar and asks for a gin and tonic.  The bartender makes the G&T and says: "That'll be $30 - and I must say we don't get many gorillas in here."  The gorilla replies: "With prices like that, I'm not surprised."

Charles Dickens: A martini please.
Bartender: Olive or twist?

Woman: I love you.
Man: Is that you or the gin talking?
Woman: It's me talking to the gin.

I tried to say no to gin but it's 42.5% stronger than me.

They say gin can damage your short-term memory.  If that's the case, just imagine what gin can do.

I'm on a gin and tonic diet:  I lost three days last week.

My Uncle Elroy used to sell pants for 25 cents apiece.  Everyone called him Quarter Roy.

  1. Imagine that ... talks to much. I found myself doing the same thing when I was selling my old VWs ... since I live alone, I would lecture myself later while looking in the mirror. LOL
