ANOTHER GOOD NIGHT AND DAY FOR KELLY

 EARLY SUMMER DAYS

Our temperatures tumbled overnight and I almost needed a jacket to fend off the cool westerly wind earlier this morning.  Needing a few things in Goderich, Pheebs and I made our way there and grabbed some gas and a coffee to go.  If I thought it was kinda cool on our morning walk I hadn't thought about how cool it would really be along Goderich's lakeshore.  With a stiff wind blowing in off the lake it was downright cold.  With our front windows down we had to have the heater going.  A quick stop at Walmart to mix it up with the local Walmartians and we were soon home again.

THE TUGBOAT OCEAN A SIMARD IN GODERICH'S HARBOR
THE TUGBOAT SEEMS TO BE JUST SITTING THERE
OH GEEEEEZZZZ, I HOPE THE CAPTAIN DIDN'T FALL ASLEEP
 NOPE, THE TUGBOAT IS MOVING
A LARGE LAKE FREIGHTER HAS JUST LEFT THE SIFTO SALT MINE  DOCKAND IS HEADING NORTH UP THE LAKE
YOU CAN SEE HOW COLD THE WIND IS BY THE TYPE OF COAT THIS FELLOW IS WEARING
THE COLD WIND DOESN'T SEEM TO BE BOTHERING THIS HARDY KAYAKER
 STOPPING FOR A CHAT
 A NICE 1956 FORD

ORANGE AND WHITE ALWAYS REMIND ME OF A CREAMSICLE

LEAVING THE HARBOR I SPOTTED THIS FELLOW PROBABLY DECIDING IF HE REALLY WANTS TO WALK ALL THE WAY DOWN THE HILL TO THE HARBOR AND BACK UP
Another good night and day for Kelly so I hope her luck holds.  With very little humidity in the air Pheebs was even able to take me out for an afternoon walk:))

GODERICH SURE DID A GREAT JOB WITH THE SHORELINE RECONSTRUCTION HERE
GROANER'S CORNER:((  I had the toughest time of my life. First, I got angina pectoris and then arteriosclerosis. Just as I was recovering from these, I got tuberculosis, double pneumonia and phthisis. Then they gave me hypodermics. Appendicitis was followed by tonsillectomy. These gave way to aphasia and hypertrophic cirrhosis. I completely lost my memory for a while. I know I had diabetes and acute ingestion, besides gastritis, rheumatism, lumbago and neuritis. I don't know how I pulled through it. It was the hardest spelling test I've ever had.
