It wasn't until late this afternoon when Pheebs took me for a walk that I thought about doing a post tonight.  I took my camera along this time and it wasn't long before Mother Nature convinced me to try my hand at a few photos.

Ellen's Groove::  You gotta see this as Ellen goes 'LIVE' with a band.  And then, she goes 'LIVE AGAIN' a second time.  The music just bubbles out of her.  Some of the other band members are kinda stiff, but not Ellen, she is like a bowl of jiggly jello and a natural-born musician.  These two videos brought laughter out of me as well as welling up some emotional tears of happiness for her.  Most unusual for me but by golly it actually happened.  Like I have said previously, I once knew a very special little girl like this years ago and we would take almost every opportunity to drive her mother absolutely bonkers.  Ellen so much reminds me of her and especially when in some of the videos she makes monkey faces at the camera when her dad's not looking.  Ohhhh, the memories:))

Only in America... do we use answering machines to screen calls and then Have call waiting so we won't miss a call from someone we didn't want to talk to in the first place...

Only in America... do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight...

Only in America... do we use the word politics to describe the process so well. Poli in Latin meaning many and tics meaning blood sucking creatures...
