A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE BAYFIELD BUNCH:))

I SURE DON'T HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS FOR A CHANGE:))

THIS LITTLE BUNNY SITTING PERFECTLY STILL UNDER A DUMP TRUCK IS HOPING PHEEBS AND I DON'T SEE IT....AND WE DIDN'T:))
Hands down, it was our finest weather day of the year so far.  Sunshine, warmth in the air, and a gentle southern breeze.  Pheebs and I first stopped for a walk at our country road spot before heading on to Goderich.  A lot of folks out walking along the shoreline's boardwalk.  Cars driving by with windows open to the fresh air and people strolling the beach.  Motorcycles going by and a couple convertibles with their tops down. Even saw a Jeep go by with no doors on it.  So great to see people out enjoying themselves after the long cold winter and two years of confining covid restrictions.

PHEEBS AND I WERE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE THE SHADOW COWBOY WALKING ALONG WITH US THIS MORNING
'COME ON HURRY UP DAD I CAN ALMOST SEE THE JEEP WAY UP THERE'
WE CAME ACROSS THESE PURPLE FLOWERS ON PORTER'S HILL LINE  BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE
IT'S GREAT TO SEE SPRING'S BUDS POPPING OUT
TWO LITTLE DAFFY DILLS ON A FOREST FLOOR
AND WE EVEN HAD  THIS BUNCH OF COLORFUL FLOWERS BLOOMING IN OUR PARK THIS MORNING TOO
Home around 11 I busied myself with cleaning the carport's storage area, the outside living room window, and Scooter's cab windows and windshield.  Washed the chrome wheels and went over Scooter's cab with some Mirage 2000 cleaner.  For those who don't know, Scooter is our 2002 24' Winnebago Itasca Spirit Class C Chevrolet 3500 Motorhome.  Had I not run out of energy today I would have washed the whole darn coach.  At least it's smaller and easier to wash than our last RV which was a big 37' Class A.  That was a huge cleaning job and it always wore me out just thinking about it.
AT THE BEACH I SPOTTED THIS LITTLE DOGGY FACE IN THE JEEP'S PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR
LOTS OF FOLKS OUT WALKING ALONG GODERICH'S BOARDWALK EARLIER TODAY
 "PICK ME UP MOM"
ENJOYING A SPRING DAY AT THE BEACH
"HOW'S ABOUT A BIG HUG MOM"
Not a good day for Kelly as she continues her daily struggle with all the new medications she is on.  She is very susceptible to many of the side effects each one has and had to cut her morning walk with Pheebs short again because of weakness and nausea.  She did manage to clean up one flower bed this afternoon but even that took a lot out of her and she had to lay down for several hours.

AND YES THAT IS A HARLEY-GATORSON MOTORCYCLE AND I THINK THIS FELLA MIGHT BE REACHING FOR A MARLBORO
I THINK THIS LITTLE HALLOWEEN CAR IS A TOUCH OUT OF SEASON
"BILL, DID YOU SEE THAT GUY WINK AT ME"
A reader's comment in my Saturday post reminded me of something I've been meaning to mention.  I have not had to use Pheebs doggy steps for well over a month now.  She is hopping in and out of the Jeep just fine without them but I still carry the steps in the back of the Jeep just in case they are needed.  In hindsight, I really do think she hurt herself a couple of months ago and her reluctance to get into and out of the Jeep was not so much old age, but probably due to a sore leg or hip at the time.

AN AFTERNOON BUZZ AROUND THE PARK'S POND
A PAIR OC MALLARD DUCKS AND A LONE CANADA GOOSE

AND I SPOTTED MY FIRST PAINTED TURTLE IN THE PARK'S POND
We hit 78F today but the weather station said it felt like 82 with the accompanying humidity.  Typing my post late this afternoon I am in my big cushy living room recliner with my new Asus on my lap and a big fan blowing heaps of wonderful cool air on me.  I sure don't have any complaints for a change.

  1. Aww, Pheebs. Too bad they can't tell us where they hurt eh? Glad she is back to her old self.

  2. Happy to hear Miss Pheebs is doing better. Her profile shots out the Jeep's window are terrific as are all the other photos. Nice you are warming up!

  3. Mike has the same problem as Kelly--if a medication is going to affect anyone poorly it will be Mike. Hugs to Kelly, hope she feels better soon--feeling nauseated is not nice!
