A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE BAYFIELD BUNCH:))

KELLY DIDN'T MAKE IT HOME TODAY:(((

IT WAS THE COLOR BLUE THAT PUT A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE TODAY
Despite the cold 23F temps this morning at least we had clear blue sunny skies and that was all it took to get Pheebs and I out the door for a wee cruise through the countryside.  We didn't go far but it was just nice to be out and about in the morning's fresh air.

COUNTRY ROADS ARE ONCE AGAIN FREE OF ICE AND SNOW
IT WAS IN THIS RURAL DRIVING SHED THAT WE FIRST SAW AND THEN BOUGHT KELLY'S WHITE PONTIAC SUNFIRE HALF A DOZEN OR MORE YEARS AGO
ABOUT THE ONLY TRAFFIC WE SAW THIS MORNING WAS THIS LARGE NATURAL GAS TRUCK
LOOKS LIKE THIS FARMER'S RECYCLE BIN HATH RUNNETH OVER
A SUNNY DAY IN OUR FRONT YARD
THIS IS THE GOBBLE GOOSE GRACKLE GANG
ALL THAT SNOW WILL BE GONE WITHIN A COUPLE DAYS
Kelly called earlier this morning before the doctor had been in to see her.  Her hemoglobin numbers had dropped a bit again so it was an unknown at that point whether she would be coming home today.

SHE WAS UP EARLY ENOUGH TO CATCH THE SUNRISE
BREAKFAST DIDN'T LOOK LIKE TOO MUCH FUN AND THE ONLY THING THERE THAT WOULD INTEREST ME IS THE MUFFIN
NEEDLESS TO SAY KELLY MADE ANOTHER RUN TO TIM HORTONS
AND THIS IS WHERE KELLY HAS BEEN LIVING FOR THE PAST 5 DAYS
KELLY'S HOPING THIS IS HER LAST FOODY PICTURE FROM THE HOSPITAL ...IT'S HER SUPPER TONIGHT
Waiting and waiting today for word to come down that she could go home, it finally turned out it was not to be.  She will spend one more night in the hospital and if nothing drastic happens she has been told she can go home sometime Wednesday morning.  Now, won't that be a nice birthday present given to her from the hospital:))

GROANER'S CORNER:))  If my body were a car, this is the time I would be thinking about trading it in for a newer model.  I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull but that's not the worst of it.  My headlights are out of focus and it's especially hard to see things up close.  My traction is not as graceful as it once was.  I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather.  My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins.  It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed.  My fuel rate burns inefficiently.  But here's the worst of it ----------------- Almost every time I sneeze, cough or sputter.....either my radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires.

  4. I've spent some nights in hospitals. It's no fun. So, I know she is very anxious to come home. And I know you and Pheebs are missing her too. We are all "rooting" for you both.

  5. OK then. "Hurry up and wait." The mantra of the hospital life. Here's hoping tomorrow is the day when there is not much waiting.....

  7. That bed having a missing patient is a sure sign the patient is restless and needs to get home. Happy Birthday to Kelly, and hope the TBB will be together again tomorrow.
