HIS WHOLE WORLD TURNED COMPLETELY UPSIDE DOWN

With the temperature at 16F and 30mph winds driving the wind chill factor down to -4F I decided on another inside day.  There were a number of road closures in the area as well with blowing snow blocking highways.  Many accidents on local roads.  However, it looks like a temporary light at the end of the cold wintery tunnel with the next three days predicted to be around 37F.  And then it's back into the freezer again for the next few weeks.  The only pics I have today are of our front yard birds kibbitzing around our feeders.

'HEY CUTIE PIE NEVER MIND GRUMPY GUS OVER THERE, HOW'S ABOUT ME AND YOU FLY OFF TO SHANGRA-LA
WINTER WINDS WERE TRYING THEIR BEST TO BLOW THE FEATHERS RIGHT OFF THE BIRDS TODAY
BILLIE THE BLACK-CAPPED CHICKADEE AND GERTRUDE THE GOLDFINCH

AND A FEW SPECTATORS AT RINGSIDE TODAY
 GLENDA GOLDFINCH AND JOHNNY JUNCO
LOOKS LIKE THAT ONE BLACK-CAPPED CHICKADEE HAD A COUPLE SEEDS TOO MANY AND IS A LITTLE TIPSY
I'M A PURPLE FINCH AND YOUR NOT
'I HEREBY PLANT MY FEET ON SOLID GROUND AND CALL THIS PLACE CANADA'
'COME ON SWEETS JUST ME AND YOU'....'YADDA YADDA YADDA'
OH-OH SOME LITTLE SMARTY PANTS JUST MOONED THE CAMERAMAN
I THINK A CERTAIN MOURNING DOVE IS HOGGING ALL THE SEEDS
'YOU ATE THAT PEPPERONI DIDN'T YA!!
 'YES, AND THE QUESTION WAS'??
I sometimes annoyingly get myself a little over the top with all the complaining I occasionally do.  Weather is one of my favorites of course.  But do I really have anything to seriously to complain about??  Well, not really.  My health is reasonably good for my age.  I can walk and talk, see and hear.  My arms and hands can do pretty much what they were designed for and my legs can transport me just about anywhere I want to go.  I have my freedom of mobility.  Not everyone has that.  On my blog's sidebar is a fellow who I have never met but we have been reading each other's blogs for a number of years now.  He lives about a hundred miles north of me in the town of Meaford Ontario.  I was first attracted to Stu's blog by his outdoor interests as we both liked to dabble in photography.   We both also enjoyed walking and hiking, exploring the rural roads of western Ontario, and seeing old barns and area wildlife. Forest trails and trees have always been of interest to both of us as well.  Four years ago Stu's life took a devastatingly sharp turn and his whole world turned completely upside down.  In his latest post, he talks about the challenges he and his wife have had to face since then and about the courage it has taken for both of them to meet those challenges and carry on......Four Years Paralyzed

GROANER'S CORNER:(( A policeman brought four boys before a judge.  "They were causing an awful lot of commotion at the zoo, your Honor," he said.  "Boys," said the judge sternly, "I never like to hear reports of juvenile delinquency.  Now I want each of you to tell me your name and what you were doing wrong."  "My name is George," said the first boy, "and I threw peanuts into the elephant pen."  "My name is Pete," said the second boy, "and I threw peanuts into the elephant pen."  "My name is Mike," said the third boy, "and I threw peanuts into the elephant pen."  "My name is Peanuts," said the fourth boy.
