It turned out to be a nothing kind of day. Pheebs and I slipped up to Goderich and back. She's doing much better but still refuses to eat her kibble and canned dog food. She likes all her different doggy treats and any meat from the table. Didn't take any photos today but I do have some pics leftover from our drive into Bayfield Saturday morning................

iT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN FOR ICICLES |
GROANER'S CORNER:(( A husband and wife were driving down a country lane on their way to visit some friends. They came to a muddy patch in the road and the car became bogged down. After a few minutes of trying to get the car out of the hole by themselves, they saw a young farmer coming down the lane, driving some oxen before him. The farmer stopped when he saw the couple in trouble and offered to pull the car out of the mud for $50. The husband accepted and minutes later the car was free. The farmer turned to the husband and said, "You know, you're the tenth car I've helped out of the mud today." The husband looks around at the fields incredulously and asks the farmer, "When do you have time to plow your land? At night?" "No," the young farmer replied seriously, "Night is when I put the water in the hole."-------------------------------

Just sent you an email Al. Looks good up there. We are getting no relief in FL ;-(
ReplyDeleteAfew houses could use more insulation by the looks of those icicles.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Pheebs is having a toothache Al. I had a doggie quite awhile back and she stopped eating like she used to. When I called and made an appointment with the vet he found 2 teeth that was getting pretty bad and he had to pull them. After her mouth healed she was back to eating once again. Good luck. Give Pheebs a pet on the head for me. Kathy Rousseau It's about time.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular photos tonighty. I agree with Kathy R. about Miss Pheebs, same happened with one of my Labs.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Have his teeth checked. Beautiful photos of a winter wonderland. I still think I like it here in Yuma though 😊
ReplyDeleteAs dogs grow older there could be all kinds of ailments developing and I am sure you are monitoring Pheebs closely. With the Canadian cold weather I am wondering if she would benefit from wearing a coat at her outings. Hope she will be feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous gallery of winter visions! Hope the sweet girl is 100% soon.
