IRKSOMELY ANNOYING

WELL AT LEAST SCOOTER GOT AWAY FOR THE WEEKEND AND IS SPENDING A COUPLE DAYS CAMPED OUT IN THE BAYFIELD GARAGE'S PARKING LOT AREA
Okay folks, I get it......no more talk of UFOs and Extraterrestrials.  About as irksomely annoying as somebody going on about religious or political stuff eh!!

A FISHING BOAT OUT OF WATER FOR THE WINTER
 I WONDER WHO SCOUSER IS??
ALL WRAPPED UP ROASTY TOASTY IN HIBERNATION FOR THE SEASON

Cold wind this morning and even Kelly suggested I might want to put on an extra pair of long underwear.  Pheebs and I slipped into Bayfield and it was alright for a walkabout in the sheltered cemetery out of the wind.

FARMERS ARE SCRAMBLING TO GET THE LAST OF THEIR CORN HARVEST IN BEFORE THE FIELDS FILL UP WITH SNOW

Just think, a month from now we'll only be five days away from Christmas.  Can Spring be that far behind:))

GROANER'S CORNER:((   When young Jose, newly arrived in the United States, made his first trip to Yankee Stadium, there were no tickets left for sale.  Touched by his disappointment, a friendly ticket salesman found him a perch near the American flag. Later, Jose wrote home enthusiastically about his experience. "And the Americans, they are so friendly!" he concluded. "Before the game started, they all stood up and looked at me and sang, .... Jose, can you see?"

  5. Whoa. I didn't see any comments about no UFO stuff. But I'm slow and not always careful in my reading. Anyway, it's your blog, and actually, while I don't read about UFO's, I find it interesting. I am reminded of a little section of a book about geology, one of John McPhee's series of absolutely wonderful books, in which he and a hard nosed geologist are out after dark in I think Nevada, and have an experience. Stunning. He doesn't theorize, just leaves you to see what he and his buddy had seen. They were stunned.
