It was a warm wind blowing the leaves around this morning. Warm winds I like, hot or cold winds I do not. Still partially cloudy for our walk and the gravel road was a little soggy from a few overnight lite rain showers. Couldn't seem to drum up any of my usual enthusiasm for a Jeep ride so we headed back home. A NICE AUTUMN DISPLAY AT A HOME IN OUR PARK
WE PASSED THIS WESTBOUND DITCH MOWER THIS MORNING I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE THE CORNFIELD BESIDE OUR WALKING ROAD ALREADY BEING HARVESTED NOTICE HOW THE STRONG SOUTH WIND IS BENDING THE CORNSTALKS TO THE NORTH AND YOU CAN SEE WHERE THE COMBINE ENTERED AND EXITED THE FIELD ON THE RIGHT
Aside from making a few more changes in the sunroom there really wasn't much going on today. The usual stuff these days, reading and snoozing. WE RE-PASSED THE DITCH MOWER WHO IS NOW HEADING EAST...OUR PARK IS IN THAT FOREST JUST UP THE ROAD TO THE LEFT
GROANER'S CORNER:(( Sid and Joe were sitting in a Chinese restaurant. "Sid," asked Joe, "Are there any Jews in China?" "I don't know," Joe replied. "Why don't we ask the waiter?"When the waiter came by, Joe said, "Are there any Chinese Jews?" "I don't know sir, let me ask," the waiter replied and he went into the kitchen. He quickly returned and said, "No, sir. No Chinese Jews." "Are you sure?" Joe asked. "I will check again, sir." the waiter replied and went back to the kitchen. While he was still gone, Sid said, "I cannot believe there are no Jews in China. Our people are scattered everywhere." When the waiter returned he said, "Sir, no Chinese Jews." "Are you really sure?" Joe asked again. "I cannot believe there are no Chinese Jews." "Sir, I ask everyone," the waiter replied exasperated. "We have orange jews, prune jews, tomato jews and grape jews, but no one ever hear of Chinese jews!" TODAY I SWITCHED THE MONITOR BACK TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE DECK BUT LEFT THE COMPUTER IN ITS NEW SPOT ON THE RIGHT
