SCOOTER AT THE BEACH

Seeing how Pheebs and I missed our morning walk due to a gloomy morning, we made up for it after I published Tuesday night's post.  We again headed out to our walking area and enjoyed a fine early August summer evening's brisk walk.  The countryside is just as pretty out there at 8 p.m. as it is 12 hours earlier at 8 a.m.  We wandered a couple extra country roads on our way home taking a few sunset photos along the way.  I sure like hanging out with my best Pal:))

It was 3 a.m. when thunder, lightning, and the sound of rain pounding on our steel roof woke me up.  The power temporarily winked out which of course was enough to knock out all our clocks and light timers.  Before I was fully awake I think I fell asleep again.  I later woke up to a nice warm sunny morning so Pheebs and I weren't long in getting out to our country road walking spot.  From there we jeeped around a couple country roads then headed home where we traded in Libby for Scooter.

Had been a few weeks since I had last had our Class C Winnebego Spirit out for a run so we headed off to Goderich.  A stop at the Canadian Tire Store for some light bulbs and batteries, then over to the Solo gas bar to put some fuel into the rig.  Pheebs always gets a treat there.  It was probably way back in early Spring since I last put gas in it.  Or was it late Fall last year sometime??

 THE NEW BOARDWALK IS VERY POPULAR WITH SENIORS

 A BIG DRINK FOR PHEEBS

Home again sometime after 11 I put the rig's awning out to dry after our recent rains.  With both the heat and humidity being heavy today we weren't long in heading inside and staying there.  I am certainly looking forward to the cooler Autumn air soon:))
