NOTHING TO IT IF YOU KNOW HOW TO DO IT

A nice warm and clear sunny morning for our country road walk.  A fine way to start any day and what makes it even nicer is the profusion of wildflowers growing in the ditch alongside the road.

NO, THIS IS NOT A WILDFLOWER...IT'S A FROG ON A PSYCHEDELIC TIE DYE BICYCLE:))
Pheebs hadn't been over to see Bubba for over a week so after our walk, it was off to Bubba's house.  Richard had a couple cups of coffee perking so we sat ourselves down outside in a couple lawn chairs and whiled a couple hours away on this fine summer morning.  Almost always in our discussions is winter RV travels.  Neither one of us are too optimistic about the Canada/U.S. border opening this winter.  With Covid's Delta variant soaring south of the border it's anybody's guess if and when the border will ever be open again.  It's not too far off the mark to speculate that neither one of us may ever travel in the  United States again.  We were both in agreement that our best RVing days are probably well behind us now.  Oh the discouragement of having to face reality at times.

Kelly's Cat Scan results are in and the more in-depth results show the lymph nodes surrounding the pancreas 'have not' grown into the pancreas as first feared after the ultrasound a couple weeks ago.  After another poor night's sleep interrupted by nausea and itching, Kelly headed off first thing this morning to Goderich's Dynacare Lab for yet another blood test.

Our kitchen sink, draining slower and slower, finally plugged up a few days ago.  We tried Drano, plunging, and hot water, but nothing would unplug the plugged drain.  Trying to find a plumber was like trying to find a 10 sided octagon but luckily we remembered Hoffmeyer Plumbing in Goderich.  Kelly called and within a couple hours, two fellas rolled into our driveway.  With an electric motor router-type machine they cleaned out the drain line and replaced a leaky piece of pipe.  The drain drains perfectly now.  Two thumbs up for Hoffmeyer Plumbing and the nice fellas who came to professionally unplug our plugged-up kitchen sink.  As I often say, 'nothing to it if you know how to do it'.
I TOOK A LIKING TO THE AERODYNAMIC DESIGN OF THIS HOFFMEYER WORK VAN

I HAVE NEVER SEEN A REAR HATCH OPEN QUITE LIKE THIS BEFORE
METHINKS THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT RV VAN IF RENOVATED PROPERLY

Once upon a time, there was this guy who bought a hang glider and took it out to the mountains to fly it. He was cruising along a few hundred feet above the treetops when he spots these two hunters down below. He hollers and waves at them, trying to be sociable  Suddenly the hunters look up and they both fire their double-barrel shotguns at him.  When the hang glider was out of sight one of the hunters turns to the other and says, "What kinda bird you reckon that was?"  The other hunter replies, "I don't rightly know, but I think we hit it."  "How's that?"  "You saw how fast he dropped that man he was caring, didn't ya?"

  3. Are those sweet peas gone wild in the second photo! Lovely little things.
Good news on the pancreas. Guess they're back to square one on that. Meanwhile, you seem to have found a good plumber. Worth their weight in gold, which they often seem to charge.
