A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE BAYFIELD BUNCH:))

WE JUST DON'T KNOW

I THINK THE TOWN OF GODERICH IS DOING A GREAT JOB WITH THE REFURBISHMENT OF ITS SHORELINE AREA OUT IN ROTARY COVE
Best thing I have always liked about Sunday mornings is how a feeling of peace settles softly across the land.  No farm machinery working anywhere and very few vehicles on the roads.  And Sunday mornings have been like that for as long as I can remember.  Hope it never changes.

THIS MORNING WAS AS PEACEFUL AS THIS PHOTO SUGGESTS

KELLY STOPS AT THIS ROADSIDE STAND ON PORTER'S HILL LINE FOR EGGS AND FRESH VEGGIES
Running low on Glucerna, (diabetic nutritional drink) Pheebs and I headed off to Goderich's Food Basics store where I knew them to have a good supply of Ensure and Glucerna products.  I prefer the vanilla flavor and out of a 6-pack I drink about one a day.  They taste like mini-milkshakes to me and I do refrigerate them for the best taste.  And I do like their flavor better than Boost.  Coffee to go at McDonalds and down to the harbor we went.  Just an absolutely beautiful morning along Lake Huron's shoreline.

Things are still in limbo at our Five Seasons Estates Park here just on the northeast side of Bayfield Ontario.  Rumors continue to abound about what's going on or what isn't going on.  Yes, the Park is sold.  No, the Park isn't sold.   We just wish something sensible would happen so that we all know where we're at.  We are so fortunate to live in the nicest Park of its kind in this whole area but the way things are going I'm not so sure the Park is going to stay that way.  We just don't know.

HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE MANY BITING DEER FLYS PHEEBS AND I WOULD HAVE TAKEN A WALK DOWN THIS BUSH LANE
SLIPPED OFF ON A SIDE ROAD TO TAKE A DRIVE THROUGH THIS SWAMPY AREA

Forgot to mention earlier......I got my second Covid 19 Phizer shot this past week at Michaels Pharmacy right here in Bayfield.  No side effects and it didn't even darn well hurt getting the needle either.  Unlike years ago when I was a kid in public school and a needle sticking medical team would show up unannounced sending waves of fear coursing down hallways spilling through open classroom doors.  There was no mistaking that smell of doctors and nurses medical alcohol in the air.  Oh how we kids all hated those times and I am still reminded of it to this very day if I even smell rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab.  I remember those needles back then hurting like blazes.

1. If I like it, it's mine.
2. If it's in my mouth, it's mine.

3. If I can take it from you, it's mine.

4. If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.

5. If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.

6. If I'm chewing something up, all the pieces are mine.

7. If it just looks like mine, it's mine.

8. If I saw it first, it's mine.

9. If you are playing with something and you put it down, it automatically becomes mine.

10. If it's broken, it's yours.

  2. I too enjoy the quietness of Sunday mornings. Even with water-ski boats "hitting it" at 7 AM to be first out on the lake with the smooth glass water, it's Sunday morning sound that is acceptable.

Loved all the photos, Al. Thanks for your sharing.

  4. Sundays are best because so many campers are leaving the park :-) Love the beautiful pond pics - so lush!! Glad you finally have your second shot. I forget that other places are so much farther behind. Hope you get some answers on the park soon and that they're ones you want to hear.
