OUR RIG'S INTERIOR RENOVATION PROJECT IS NOW COMPLETE

The day heated up waaaay too fast for Pheebs and I so we again cut our Jeep ride short.  But not before a shady walk between a row of trees and a cornfield.  It's not a long walk but it is a walk we often do alongside Pavilion Road southeast of Bayfield.  We were home well before 10 a.m. and I headed inside out of the heat.  Not too much difference between hot summer days and cold winter days.  Either extreme is equally unhealthy in the outdoor exercise department unless one is some kind of extremist.  We're not.

FINALLY, MY FIRST MONARCH BUTTERFLY OF THE SEASON

Puttered about a bit in the carport sorting through vehicle cleaning supplies.  Richard messaged to say our rig was done so Pheebs, Kelly and I headed right on over.  Using the dining room table that came out of the rig Richard cut it in half and made an excellent shelf/table for beside my chair.  It even incorporates an original built in cup holder.  The table fits in perfectly.  He also bolted in two pieces of steel under the manual sidestep firming it up.  Interior curtain rods are now in place as well so we'll soon be hanging some nice curtains which will serve several practical purposes.  This basically completes the main inside renovations.  We have a back-up camera ordered and it should be here Tuesday.  Richard and I may pop into Jenkins Auto Recyclers north of Goderich and see if we can find us a stock 2002 Chevy radio to replace the hard to see small Japanese radio in the rig's dash.  Aging eyes need things bigger not smaller.
