MY UROLOGIST PHONED THIS AFTERNOON WITH MY LATEST PSA NUMBER

Had probably been about 7 months since Richard and I saw each other last and had a coffee together.  Today we pretty much picked up right where we left off last year with the only difference being we didn't do our usual country road tour this morning.  Instead we (and Pheebs) did a forest walk around some trails over at his place.  Of course with this Covid thing going on we had more problems to solve than usual so we had to work harder than ever at keeping ourselves focused. Later slipped inside where Gayle brewed us all up a coffee.

Overnight temps dipped slightly below freezing but at least we started the day off with sunshine and blue skies.  By early afternoon we were again under a cloud cover.  Stayed close to the phone awaiting a call from my Urologist, Dr. Bukala in Stratford, Ontario.  Under normal conditions I would have had an appointment with him this morning at the Clinton Hospital.  However, with most normalcy right out the window these days I awaited his call for the results of my latest PSA blood test regarding the status of my Prostate Cancer.  He called at 1:45 to tell me my PSA number had gone down even more to 0.3 from .45 which was down from an all-time high of 15.4.  Two thumbs up for PSA testing, my Oncologist Dr. Mendez, the London Cancer Clinic, and the newer SABR Radiation Treatment  (Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy)

Cold wind on our afternoon walk here in the Park but with Pheebs fur coat and my lined nylon jacket we were Okay to go.  Our Park is still in a state of flux and we the residents still don't know what is happening.  The couple who have owned the Park since before we came here split up quite awhile ago and one of them is no longer involved in the ownership of the Park.  Rumors still abound about a potential buyer for the Park but it is all just rumors as far as we can figure.  It is like we residents have been left aboard a foundering ship in heavy seas without a steady hand on the wheel.

AT LEAST THIS NEW ROAD GOING NOWWHERE GIVES PHEEBS AND I ANOTHER PLACE TO WALK

NOPE WE STILL DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT'S GOING ON HERE IN OUR PARK

Pheebs and I did get out for a short Jeep ride around Bayfield earlier this morning before heading over to Richards.  Looks like they have most of the old 73 year old Bayfield bridge demolished already.
