I HAVE LEFT A ‘CLUE’ ABOUT SOMETHING IN TONIGHT’S POST REGARDING THE ‘BAYFIELD BUNCHES’ FUTURE

Snow came in the night changing our dull gray green brown landscape to white again.  Those moderate drizzly wet snow flurry showers continued for most of the morning.  Highways were wet with road salt while secondary and country roads were lightly covered.  Pheebs and I headed off in the direction of Clinton with our first stop at Huron Tirecraft to check on a couple 22.5 inch Michelin tires.  Next stop was a coffee to go at Tim Hortons.  From there I popped Libby into 4 wheel drive and headed out into the countryside looking for a few photos.

Well the score changed again and is now Squirrel 6 – Al 5!!.  Looking up from our sunroom computer this afternoon about 1 o’clock I saw a black Squirrel up on our bird feeding station.  #!!%&**  He had a big grinning sneer on his face and he flicked me ‘the paw’!!  Having no idea how he got up there I kept a close eye on the feeder but it wasn’t close enough.  Twice more I had to shoo him off.   Don’t know if it’s a him or her but there were 3 of the little black Devils racing around the yard today.  Probably has something to do with the corn we’ve been putting out for them this year.

It's the long afternoons that are most difficult sometimes.  For me, mornings have always been a time of doing things and I haven't changed much on that over the years.  Still up before dawn and out the door not long afterwards going somewhere or doing something.  I just seem to be driven to do that every day.  To get up then sit around doing nothing doesn't work for me.  Slowing down in the afternoon seems easier but that's where I stumble.  Sliding into evening isn't too bad because I have my blog to put together and that does keep me busy for a few hours.  As long as I am able to continue my relaxing Jeep rides with Pheebs for a few hours each morning I at least have a chance of keeping my head above water.  Those few precious hours with my best Pal, my music, and my camera, whether wandering country roads or walking quiet forest paths is always the highlight of each waking day for me and I so much look forward to it.  I am one of those people who needs their 'alone' time.

Somewhere in tonight’s post I have left a ‘clue’ (maybe two) about something concerning the ‘Bayfield Bunches’ near future.  I’m curious to see if anyone picks up on it………….  

GROANER'S CORNER:(( A man was sitting in his house when he heard a tapping on the door.  He went to see who it was.  He opened the door and looked around he then heard a tiny voice, "Hey mister, could you lend me 10 bucks?"  The man looked down and saw a snail sitting on his porch. He said, "What do you want?"  The snail said, "Could you lend me 10 bucks?"  The man yelled, "get out of here!" and then kicked him off the porch.  About a year later the man hears a tapping on his door again.  He goes out to see who it is.  He looks around and he finally heard a tiny voice say, "What did you do that for?"
