GOT THE UTILITY TRAILER HOOKED UP & MONDAY MORNING WE’RE OFF ON A MISSION:))

In Saturday's post I mentioned something about my mind coming up with more & more blogging topics over the years. What I didn't mention are the times I reach the end of the day with an empty head & nothing written. Kinda like tonight:((

I’ll breeze you through my boring habitual weather forecast by simply saying we had ourselves a beautifully sunny 68F sunny Autumn day.  Why can’t it stay like this all year.  Cleaned both vent screens in the Winnie Wagon.  The bathroom one was an ordeal & it was Kelly to the rescue to get that Mossmagator put back together properly.  Won’t be doing that again!!.  We hit a couple scratch & dent stores in Clinton today looking for a nice small comfortable Pheeber couch.  No luck but Kelly did spot a pair of new ‘Crawford’ slip on shoes for me at $20.  I tried them on & bought em right away.   They are soooooo comfortable I wore them for the rest of the day I just may wear them to bed tonight.  Maybe even in the shower Monday morning.

JUST ONE OF A FEW CRITTERS IN OUR FRONT YARD JUNGLE

Later in the day Kelly tracked down a nice looking Loveseat for sale on Kijiji.  People are updating their cottage furniture so we scored their older Kroehler Loveseat for $70.  We are heading out in the morning with our utility trailer to Komoka Ontario which is about a 50 mile drive south of us to pick it up.  Their cottage is just south of Bayfield but they took the Loveseat home a couple days ago to sell it.  Oh well, we’ll go down to Komoka & bring that Loveseat right back to Bayfield.  We have our fingers crossed Pheebs is going to like it because it really is for her to stretch out on.  Below is a picture of the Loveseat in their cottage.  It’s the one on the left.

Sure has been nice to be busy this past week.  I love all the running around we have been doing.  Nice to see time moving a little faster these days.   Up to the Ripley area a couple times looking at properties, London looking at Loveseat recliners, Grand Bend a couple days ago to get that couch/blow-up bed taken out of the Winnie Wagon at Ron’s FOUR SEASONS PERFORMANCE, Clinton today looking at some furniture, Goderich Saturday doing the same.  And Monday morning off to Komoka which is west of London.  I always enjoy heading off somewhere in search of something.  Because of our older utility trailer we will be running back roads all the way to Komoka & back in the morning so that means some new scenery.  I love dat:))  Oh, & PETER wondered, “where has that nice looking love seat from your rig gone”?   Ron at ‘Four Seasons Performance’ has someone coming to look at it Wednesday.  If the fellow doesn’t want it Ron will put the couch/air bed on Kijiji & sell it there.  He has a far better chance of selling it than we do.  He has a lot of contacts in the RV business & he doesn’t figure it will be any problem to sell it.

GROANER’S CORNER:((  An elderly man moved into a nursing home. After he'd been there a few days, a nurse noticed him leaning to the right, and strapped his left arm to the chair. A few days later, she noticed him leaning to the left, and strapped his right arm to the chair. Not long after that, she noticed him leaning forward in his chair, so she strapped him to the back of the chair. His daughter came to visit him. "How do you like this place?" she asked him. "It's not bad," he replied, "except they won't let me pass gas."

  1. You sound pretty upbeat in tonight's blog, and that is nice to hear. I like the Pheeb's loveseat that you are going to get for her.

  3. I think Pheebs will enjoy her new love seat just fine. Hope you get it before the heat wave coming in the next few days.
