IF ONE DOESN’T LOOK, ONE MAY NEVER FIND

Feeling the need to change-up my surroundings for a bit again I headed off in the Jeep this morning with my cameras.  Spent a couple nice hours crawling around the country side enjoying the scenery & the ambience of our rural surroundings.  I guess it is that constant travel urge in me to just get out there & peer over the next hill & around the next curve in the road.  I have always had that & it has served me well in our travels.

Another enjoyable purpose for my country road wanderings is to keep an eye out for any ‘For Sale’ signs on rural properties.  Not all people list through Real Estate so there is always an ‘off chance’ of stumbling across something interesting.  If one doesn’t look, one may never find.

Still patiently awaiting a call from Dr. Anand’s office in Goderich as to when I am to report to the Hospital & have a couple growths removed.  I would just like to get that one behind me & find out the biopsy results of the suspect one.  In two weeks I’ll be back to the Stratford Hospital to have my stent removed.  Will be glad to get that little procedure behind me as well.  I hope to get a report on my Kidney Stone procedure results from a couple weeks ago at that time too.  Isn’t this aging crap just wonderful!!  Oh how I wish we could have started our adventures at a much younger age.

Slipped over to DEER PARK LODGE this afternoon & headed down to the beach to take some photos.  Kelly had sent an email saying all the chairs were set up for Saturday’s wedding.  Looks like the weather is going to co-operate so the ceremony on the beach is a go.  Wedding will take place at 3 P.M. Ontario time.  There are two ways to access the live web cam on the beach.  On DEER PARK'S WEBSITE just look for the little webcam on the left side under the header photos.  The direct camera link is DEER PARK'S BEACH CAM.  You can go there now & check out all the chairs.  If the screen is black it probably just means it’s night time here in Ontario:))

 
And, this Berneazian comment from Ed over at THE PEREGRINATING GRAYBEARD regarding Bernese/Burmese dogs I had talked about in my two previous posts.  Ed says,  "Methinks it's "Burmese Mountain Dog", although what the breed has to do with Burma isn't really something I've ever looked into.  There is such a breed but the dog in Al's pictures is a Burnese Mountain Dog as he has said.
