A LONG RAINY DAY

DSC_0005-1

MEMORIES OF SPRING 2010

It rained steadily from morning till night & I never set foot out of the house.  It was another television day in the recliner.  Even the little Motormouse got more fresh air than I did with her 3 or 4 trips out into the back yard.

MISSING HER PALS

Watched CNN for awhile & the comedy channel for a bit catching some of Canada's 'Corner Gas' shows.   Even rode across Mongolia with Genghis Kahn & the Mongolian hordes on the History channel.  Later caught an old Star Trek episode & climbed aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise with Captain James T. Kirk “to seek out new life and new civilizations, and to boldly go where no man has gone before.”

And that about sums up my day.

  2. Wow Al! Your day was better than mine! I was just telling DH that this must be THE worst spring we got in years! Sure hope the summer will be nicer...

  3. Beautiful memories. Some day they won't hurt quite so much.

  4. Dreary days can be hard on the soul. :( My guess is that Cora isn't the only one missing her buds.

    I like your new header.

  5. Sorry the weather is so gloomy. I understand your need to veg out in front of the TV for awhile. Sunny days will come back again.

  6. Thanks for the photos of Max and Checkers. What fun they had! Didn't they bring joy to your life, as did you to theirs. These will someday be "the memories of right now" that bring a big smile to your face.

  10. Have to ask...what are Corner Gas shows?

Motormouse does indeed look pensive in that photo...perhaps she is remembering what you shared in the photos of Max and Checkers.

Hope Kelly's mom is doing okay.

  11. Once you put more than one dog in the house, they are never the same, when one isn't there, We see that when Rigg's and Sadie get separated. whoever is left is lost and will sit and watch out the window or just cling to whoever is home till their pal gets home.Be safe out their my friends, better days will come. Sam & Donna.

  12. First of all..LOVE your new header photo....and the ones of Max and Checker playing in the surf were heart warming. Have you ever given a thought of putting together a photo albumn of all 3 of the furry kids?? I'll bet you have some fabulous photos of all 3 great looking dogs...a keepsake.

  13. Love the new header Al :)
We had lots of wind here in SW Az, so in a way just as bad as a rainy day, must stay in.
    Take care

  14. The Motormouse does look quite pensive. I am sure everyone will brighten up a bit when the weather improves.

  15. Can't say any more than what the others have said. The idea of a photo album (or better yet, web album) of the three furry ones is a good one.
