A QUIET SPRING DAY

DSC_0041-1

MORNING WALK IN A SPRING FOREST

We never reach a point where there is nothing to do, but we often have difficulty coming up with the motivation to do things.  The hardest part is not necessarily mowing the grass, washing the RV, or planting the garden.  The hardest part is often just getting off the couch to do it!!

TRILLIUM FLOWERS & MAY APPLES

I was disappointed that my mobility run was cancelled this morning so the day didn't start off on the most productive foot.

THE FOREST IS CARPETED WITH TRILLIUMS

It is one of those blog nights where I am sitting here at the computer with a blank mind.  The front yard cast of characters are at the feeders.  Blue Jays, Cardinals, Cowbirds, & Red Wing Blackbirds, just to mention a few.   The world in front of me is turning greener with each passing day & the evening pastel sunlight on the west side of the pine trees tell me we are approaching the end of another day.

Sometimes there are feelings of peace & sometimes there are just.........feelings.

GROANER'S CORNER:((   As a senior citizen was driving down the freeway, his car phone rang. Answering, he heard his wife's voice urgently warning him, "Herman, I just heard on the news that there's a car going the wrong way on 280. Please be careful!"

"Hell," said Herman, "It's not just one car. It's hundreds of them!"
