I am fairly new following your blog, but I am addicted in that I want to stop by every day. I am bad at remembering jokes, but I try to repeat the groaners to my husband most days. Looked up Bayfield. Good grief!! You are on the other side of the country from Arizona. That's quite a trip back and forth. (Just had to give you a bad time about that. ;))

Before I retired, and went fulltime in the RV, I spent a lot of time lost in the world of books. It provided quite an escape for me from the stressful realities of life. If there is, you can find a program you have open at all times and will show you what programs are using data, how much and a TOTAL of data used since you turned on your computer.

I don't use Windows but I think from the days I did there was something similar to my Mac's Activity Monitor that I use since I have to watch my usage due to my monthly limit on satellite internet service. I do know that when I shut off all of my automatic updates it definitely saved data used and a lot of it. I have also been able to catch unexpected data usage from checking that monitor screen at times.

Glad to hear that Windows 10 is working out for you.Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08464723652295679622noreply@blogger.com
