I have dealt with depression, and it isn't fun. Getting older and having health problem just adds to it. I hope when you and Kelly can get some miles south under your belts, the heaviness will shed and you'll find a peace within. I think more people than you know are in a similar boat, especially among us seniors.

I have Keen shoes. Wish I could send you a picture. They are THE most comfortable shoes I've ever had, yet they offer a lot of support. Not as spiffy looking as yours though. I also like New Balance.

Keep on keepin' on, Al. There all those of us who care about you and Kelly out here, and then you have "the Pheebs" who adores you. What a great dog she has turned out to be. I remember when I first started reading your blog you were disappointed that another pup that you hoped to adopt did work out--I just knew there was Pheebs waiting for you. Some things are just destined to be. :)
Jackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06371157074687319596noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10886995.post-4747832191995070802013-08-13T17:31:40.223-04:002013-08-13T17:31:40.223-04:00I think I caught your sore foot last night. Back, leg and foot pain increases a lot when I don't wear good shoes.
Years ago we used to camp at Point Farms just north of Goderich and sometimes on the beach you could hear the blasting under the lake, almost sounded like thunder. I think your readers care enough about you and Kelly to offer support, not criticism...at least I hope so. Thank you for being who you are and perhaps helping others to recognize and seek help for their own issues. I have had depression it seems forever. I have learned to live with it - just like several other things in my life - one day at a time. Some days are harder than ever. It is a roller coaster ride. My husband has never had to deal with depression, and for him, it's very hard to understand. It just doesn't go away for me even when I did take medication; it does get better and then back down. Yes, a roller coaster. :) LindaWe Are Touring Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00181431624110020770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10886995.post-78611516032558973642013-08-12T23:16:03.717-04:002013-08-12T23:16:03.717-04:00no justification is needed for anything!.. nothing...no justification is needed for anything!.. nothing like a jeep ride..good for what ails!!Sue and Doughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11436889944386917688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10886995.post-2045246259579965322013-08-12T22:43:44.718-04:002013-08-12T22:43:44.718-04:00I was getting a couple of tires for my motorhome l...I was getting a couple of tires for my motorhome last week and my grandson noticed some tires in the warehouse where I was getting tires. They were the biggest tires I have ever seen. Two of them were about a big as my small motorhome. They said the tires were for some machine used in the salt mine and one costs $55,000. There must be a lot of money in salt. Made me feel a little better about my $300 dollar tires. lol I never think about taking a picture of interesting things.

An oil rig pierced a salt dome under a small lake near here once and the water in the lake went down into the dome. The water in a canal that connected the lake to the gulf ran backwards.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
