NOAA says that we will be dodging the first snow storm of the season! I don't think it's going to snow much, but we had hoped it wouldn't snow at all. We're going to work on my sister in law's ranch for a week or so and we deliberately scheduled our trip during the early fall so that it wouldn't be too hot, too cold, or wet and muddy. Hah! Not only that, we just managed to dodge a wild fire in Julian this past weekend. Mother Nature is toying with us.Sandybeenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10886995.post-30407587456630659752011-10-04T16:37:05.119-04:002011-10-04T16:37:05.119-04:00Howdy Kelly & Al,

I 'fixed' my 'check engine light' myself; I put some peel & stick stickers the g-kids had over
it(in both car & p-u!).. I sure hope you don't miss your 4-corners
experience.. Just relax and get on the bike(if itz not raining) and CRUISE!! Can be frustrating AND expensive, depending on who you have to look into it. A handy little gadget that I've had for a few years now is the OBD2 diagnostic tool. You can at least narrow down the problem.
Some vehicles will show a "check engine" light even if one of the tail-lights is burnt out.
Once had the gas cap issue too, with a brand new vehicle. Kids had filled it up, and someone didn't tighten the cap.
