There's only one true explanation down here in SE Arizona -- that was obviously our ancient Native American fertility god, Kokopelli! He is known to be a trickster and a tease. He sure set you off! We try to protect ourselves from his doings by having multiple effigies of him all over the place, but he still comes by regularly and moves things I have carefully put in place so that I can't them!Jerry and Suzyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01381487159402842587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10886995.post-6456106237377723482010-12-27T08:08:32.092-05:002010-12-27T08:08:32.092-05:00Maybe it was one of the long lost aliens from Rosw...Maybe it was one of the long lost aliens from Roswell - got sucked up in the tail wind of Santa's sleigh and thought your solar panel looked familiar!! They are related to racoons, hence curious. Odel and I once saw a family of coati at Catalina State Park north of Tucson, so I know they are in AZ. That was the first thing I thought of, reading your story - yet it does seem mighty odd that the dogs weren't on alert.

Creepy, indeed.
