It was replaced by a Cannon Powershot my wife bought for herself. I missed a lot of funny shots due to it waiting to decide if I really wanted to take that pic. GRRR! I was then issued a Sony Cybershot for work. It was good except for focus. I got another one due to water damage on the first. My boss got riffed when he saw my pic's from my vacation and the last one was a water ride action shot. He still let me keep the old one and use the new one. I had to turn in the new camera when I retired.I disassembled the old one and cleaned it carefully. Now it works as good as new, lousy focus still there. I bought my last pocket camera which was a Nikon S 3100. It is great! very thin and light and good focus and it snaps when you press the shutter release. Just do not take it on a roller coaster ride. Kathy got a very cheap Fugi 2 AA battery camera and I think it is the best we have. The only complaint is it never says the battery is low, It just quits. It is a great thing to have for less than $ 75.00ZippyPinHeadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01744888611143753611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10886995.post-33089757461973784212012-09-25T22:36:14.295-04:002012-09-25T22:36:14.295-04:00I do like my little point-and-shoot Pentax. My FujiFilm camera arrived today. It's not a DSLR, but has a 30x wid-angle optical zoom, 14mp resolution, 3.0" bright LCD plus electronic viewfinder. I got it working to the point where I could turn it on, and the LCD is certainly bright, plus the viewfinder is super - in a good spot and big enough where I can find it easily. To you it would be a child's toy, but I think it will work out perfect for me. Haven't used it yet because I can't get the strap attached, and certainly don't want any accidents at this point!Gypsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18052445200220681513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10886995.post-21882436762494233962012-09-25T21:43:16.713-04:002012-09-25T21:43:16.713-04:00Our question always while hiking trails is, if we ...Our question always while hiking trails is, if we run into a bear, do we take photos then run?
