A house we lived in was a 'trysting' place for two-toned-kitties with the fluid drive and I steel-trapped 19 of them out from under our bed-room in one winter.. My x-wife rode in a car-pool, when she got in the windows came down, NO MATTER THE TEMPERATURE!!! butterbeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10175812283517686524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10886995.post-574777621917245282013-10-29T16:46:06.282-04:002013-10-29T16:46:06.282-04:00Good luck getting rid of the skunk,

You might have to drive a lot more miles when you can see a more direct route on the map that is a byway. Fuel costs more in the little towns in some states, but I've been surprised a few times by how cheap it seems.

My biggest problem is that I like to see the countryside, and you don't see much from an interstate. After having a few tire problems over the years I would put a new tire. It's not always easy to find the tire you want on the road if you have another problem.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10886995.post-62518911341866729802013-10-29T11:53:43.560-04:002013-10-29T11:53:43.560-04:00Ugh on the skunks! Blech, wasn't pleasant trying to sleep with that going on! So I sympathize. I too need a spare tire. Can't decide if I should get new or used either. I'm kind of leaning towards used because it's just not often that one has to be used at all. Then I'd buy new if I did have to replace one of the load tires? not sure.
Enjoyed todays post! You can easily automate this and have it run all summer, although you'd want someone to check on it once in awhile. I had an acre of native plants on a drip at my desert house in Moab and was often gone for long stretches and it really worked great. Once in awhile a sprinkler would blow and I'd have water spraying out, but it never amounted to much on the water bill. I once owned a landscaping company and we installed lots of drip systems - saves water, easy and cheap to install, and pretty reliable.

And yes, the yellow plant is Chrysothamnus nauseosus, also known as rubber rabbitbrush. It provides shelter for groundbirds and food for rabbits and deer.Spotted Dog Ranch:https://www.blogger.com/profile/15734250215386335527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10886995.post-42918331313849779982013-10-29T08:28:45.833-04:002013-10-29T08:28:45.833-04:00We had critters, too, since our female cat, Daisy ...We had critters, too, since our female cat, Daisy died this summer. My daughter rented a house last month, heard the scratching of critters under the house and in the walls, she has a 2 month old baby and decided to move out instead of dealing with the critters, I hope you get rid of them soon.Terihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01019364333876469130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10886995.post-14931719876221105192013-10-29T01:55:07.877-04:002013-10-29T01:55:07.877-04:00YIKES!!
