We have come from late fall/winter with snow to green trees with no color and corn that needs to dry out.....a lot. Confusing, to say the least.

We are ready to head to the southwest and have yet to finish our trip home! We are heading into a three month trip in January, and with our 26 footer without those big storage bins the big boys have, we are also thinking about space. It works, and you will love your shorter size, really you will! Yes I envy those two pics. Happy you shared them with us, all of them were great.
I go with that car / truck frame being a swamp monster. Good story to tell kids in the area.
We finally got the packing figured out and now we do not use the RV. I do know that over packing is easy and the only thing you need a lot of is underwear. Laundry mats are my least enjoyed RV event. When we were making the 1300 mile trek from TX to MN, we used my Honda as a red wagon. Loaded it so much--even took plants in the trunk! Generally we never unhooked the car. If it became absolutely necessary, we had to transfer stuff to the RV, then shuffle it again. But! I didn't want to do without some things for 3+ months, so it was worth it. Good luck on your handling of the problem!!RunNRosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11610154229648677906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10886995.post-7793119141537198392013-09-27T21:53:44.100-04:002013-09-27T21:53:44.100-04:00Looks like you guys have some hardwoods up there, ...Looks like you guys have some hardwoods up there, from all the reds. Great photos. About all we have here in Colorado are scrub oak and Rocky Mountain Maples, and not so many maples as over in Utah, where they are gorgeous in the fall.

Over where Box Canyon Mark lives by Ouray, there's a big hill of scrub oak that is beautiful when it turns - it's called the Magic Carpet. That really fits it when the colors turn.Spotted Dog Ranch:https://www.blogger.com/profile/15734250215386335527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10886995.post-27305246267581316032013-09-27T21:21:59.048-04:002013-09-27T21:21:59.048-04:00You sure got some good shooting there in the marsh...You sure got some good shooting there in the marsh, Al. I'd much rather see your kind of shots than the kind there during hunting season. As always, enjoy your photos so much, really like your header.

We went for a drive yesterday, and also noticed that there was one big corn field that had already been harvested. Those farmers must know what they're doing, for sure. I would never make it as a farmer.

Enjoy your packing things into the motorhome. One of the problems I always have is just which shirts and pants and jackets and such to take with me. So, I end up taking way too much, since I don't wear most of them at all during the time we're on the road.
