KELLY WAS TAKEN BY AMBULANCE TO LONDON'S UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

AMBULANCE LIGHTS AT THE END OF OUR DRIVEWAY ON A COLD AND RAINY MID-DECEMBER NIGHT
Kelly hadn't been feeling the best on Wednesday and Thursday things didn't get any better.  She became progressively worse Thursday evening and I called an ambulance.  She was taken to Goderich Hospital where she brought up a huge amount of blood twenty minutes after arriving there.  They kept her in for the night.  She phoned several times this morning to say she was feeling better but she wouldn't be coming home.  She had 3 IVs in her arm and said she was feeling weak.  No coffee and no food but her spirits were good.  She called again saying it had been decided to send her to London's University Hospital as soon as possible.  Pheebs and I slipped up to the hospital to see her.  Of course, Pheebs had to wait in the Jeep.  Kelly is a trooper and she is not one to complain about her situation or condition.  She is always positive and optimistic.   She was tired and had not slept well so I didn't stay long.  Pheebs and I were only home a couple minutes when the phone rang and it was Kelly.  We talked for about a minute before she had to go because the ambulance paramedics had come into her room to load her up and take her to University Hospital in London.  A nurse will accompany the paramedics to monitor her IV drips and condition.  Later this afternoon Kelly sent this from her smartphone in London....2:30-Eighth Floor, 4 people in the room !!! Surgical Wing. Endoscopy tomorrow.  UPDATE:: Kelly called around 6:30 tonight saying she had her endoscopy late this afternoon.  She is hoping they will let her come home tomorrow.........

It’s been raining for days now and my husband seems very depressed by it.  He keeps standing by the window, staring. If it continues, I’m going to have to let him in.
