HOW DID IT EVER GET TO THIS!!

SUNNY SKIES OVER OUR PARK TODAY
Despite a rainy start to our day, we ended it under sunny blue skies and slightly warmer temps.  A soggy morning drive to Goderich and back for Pheebs and I netted a few groceries and yet another prescription refill.  Pills, pills, pills, how did it ever get to this!!!!  Aside from a walk down one of our Park's newer rut pitted mud roads this afternoon there wasn't much going on today.

NO, NOT DANDELION...THESE ARE COLTSFOOT
WHERE WE ONCE HAD A NICE FOREST WE NOW HAVE MUDDY RUTS IN THE GROUND
AND THERE USED TO BE FOREST TREES HERE TOO
NICE TO GET OUT FOR AFTERNOON WALKS AGAIN
GROANER'S CORNER:((
A man and his wife are dining at a table in a plush restaurant, and the husband keeps staring at a drunken lady swigging her drink as she sits alone at a nearby table.  The wife asks, "Do you know her?"  "Yes," sighs the husband, "she's my ex-girlfriend. I understand she took to drinking right after we split up seven years ago, and I hear she hasn't been sober since."  "That is totally bizarre!" says the wife. "Who would think a person could go on celebrating that long?"

----------------------------

"Waiter, there's a fly in my soup!"  "Don't worry, sir, the spider in your salad will get it."

Q. How does a man show he's planning for the future?  A. He buys two cases of beer instead of one.

Confucius says man who runs in front of the car gets tired and the man who runs behind car gets exhausted.

This police officer sees an old lady driving and knitting at the same time so after driving next to her for awhile he yells to her,"PULLOVER". She replies,"No a pair of socks".

  2. Yes, hard to see the trees coming down. And things changing in a not good direction. I have no words for the loss of your good friend other than I am so sorry. I hate that when it happens. But spring appear to be springing, and there Pheebs is, and here we are! So onward!

  3. Thank goodness you have such great groaners especially the last one. The sight of the forest destruction and the reminder that our later lives are full of pills both made me sad. But true whether I like it or not.

  4. They're building a house next to me. I feel your pain.

It took one day to bulldoze that 1/4 acre, we all cried, the birds made not one sound that day. 💙💛

  6. Best thing you can do for leg atrophy is Stretching. And it's relaxing, too. We have been using this dvd for decades...heals back and neck pain, too. Always recommend it to others...no one seems to want to take the time to dig in and do it, but here it is again: https://stretchingplus.com/malaises-et-temoignages/qui-est-jacques-gauthier/les-etats-unis/article-de-presse-etats-unis/canadian-walks-his-stretching-message-around-the-continent-in-year-long-journey/

The dvd is out-of-print, but you can try Amazon and eBay: Jacques Gauthier Stretching DVD. Or you can watch it here (in French...they are French Canadians; the DVD gives both language options) and just do what they do and deep breath while stretching, which is what they mostly say. He regained mobility from a wheelchair: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cumpUPiJc48&ab_channel=L%27Archiveur

If either of you have a serious interest in this, please drop me a note and I will drop a copy of the dvd in the mail to you.
