SO EASY TO BACKSLIDE INTO A FEW BAD OLD HABITS

That big magic bright ball of elixired sunshine was back in our morning skies today so there was no hesitation on heading out the door despite the 27F temps wind chilled down to 19F.  It again was a drive into Bayfield with a walk around the roads in Bayfield's sheltered cemetery for the furry kid and I.  Glad to see the Bayfield Bridge crew back on the job after the holidays.

THE BAYFIELD RIVER IS IN THE EARLIEST STAGES OF FREEZING OVER

&#!!@%* I gained 4 pounds over the Christmas holiday season.  Too many unnecessary slip-ups on my part.  I have instituted drastic measures once again to get my weight back down to where it was at 182 pounds.  So easy to backslide into a few bad old habits if one is not constantly vigilant.  And I had been doing so well this past year too!!

SHORELINE ICE IS ACCUMULATING AND DEPENDING ON HOW SEVERE THE TEMPERATURES GET THE
LAKE CAN EASILY FREEZE AS FAR OUT AS THE EYE CAN SEE
BAYFIELD'S SOUTH PIER IS ALSO BEGINNING TO TAKE ON ITS ANNUAL COAT OF ICE

THERE ARE MANY OLD TOMBSTONES HERE
And did you know the late Betty White had roots in Wingham, Ontario?  Well, it's true.  Betty White

HOW UPLIFTING IT IS TO SEE SUNSHINE AT THIS TIME OF YEAR
GROANER'S CORNER:(( John's working at the lumberyard, pushing a tree through the buzz saw, and accidentally shears off all ten of his fingers. He goes to the emergency room.  The doctor says, "Yuck! Well, give me the fingers, and I'll see what I can do."  John says, "I haven't got the fingers."  The doctor says, "What do you mean, you haven't got the fingers? It's 2022. We've got microsurgery and all kinds of incredible techniques. I could have put them back on and made you like new. Why didn't you bring the fingers?"  John says, "Well, geeeez, Doc, how did you expect me to pick 'em up."

  1. Brrr. Thanks for getting out. The river looks very cold, but still hard to believe the lake could freeze that far out. Ooomph. Keep your weird light shining.
