A WELCOME WEATHER COOL DOWN

'THIS IS MY DAD'S TRUCK SO BACK OFF DUDE'!!
It's not only Canada day today, it's also the first day of the second half of the year.  A sobering thought that.  Holidays don't carry any weight for me anymore just as weekends don't.  Once somebody isn't working it seems like every day is a holiday.  And I like that.  I for one would never like having to go back to the working world grind again.  Not ever, not never.  I prefer to manage my own time and destiny each and every day thank you very much.

Cloudy start to the day and I didn't get around to taking many photos.  With all the heat in the air lately I found this morning's temps delightfully cooler, even prompting me to put on a light nylon jacket to thwart a slight northerly morning breeze.  I think we got up to about 65F today.

 A SMALL GATHERING OF CROWS
I THINK THIS MIGHT BE A CROP OF CANOLA
A bit of scratching around in the front yard this afternoon and that was it for the day.  I have a few file photos from the past week that I will slide in here.

A COUPLE BIG EARTH MOVERS OUT DRIVING AROUND LOOKING FOR SOME EARTH TO MOVE
I WONDER HOW REALLY SMART THAT IS DRIVING AROUND WITH A GAS CAN IN YOUR SMART CAR
SOME DAYS I FEEL MORE LIKE A TIPPERARY THAN A KITCHIGAMI
SOME NEW MOMS OUT FOR A MORNING WALK IN GODERICH'S HARBOR
I THINK THESE GUYS GOT SOME BODY LANGUAGE GOING ON HERE
BAYFIED'S STEPS TO THE BEACH FROM PIONEER PARK ARE CLOSED DUE TO BEACH EROSION AT THE BOTTOM END
GROANER'S CORNER:(( A redneck farmer from back in the hills walked twelve miles, one way, to the general store. "Heya, Wilbur," said Sam, the store owner. "Tell me, are you and Myrtle still making fires up there by rubbing stones and flint together?"  "You betcha, Sam. Ain't no 'tother way. Why?"  "Got something to show you. Something to make fire. It's called a Match."  'Match? Never heard of it."  "Watch this. If you want a fire you just do this," Sam says, taking a match and striking it on his pants."  "Huh. Well, that's something, but that ain't for me, Sam."  "Well, why not?"  "I can't be walking twelve miles to borrow your pants every time I want to start a fire."

Wife: Why are you late?  Husband: There was a man who lost a hundred dollar bill.  Wife: That's nice. Were you helping him look for it?  Husband: No, I was standing on it.

Today I learned that if you flip a canoe over you can wear it as a hat...  Because it's cap-sized!
