MAYBE NOT NEVER

A bit of a different start to our day as it was just me in the Jeep this morning heading for Goderich.  I had a rare appointment with a real live medical person.....my Nurse Practitioner.  Not knowing how long I would be there I thought it best to leave Pheebs at home.  Oh Dear, what a sad little doggy face when I slipped out the door without her.  Kelly had a morning phone appointment with her local doctor set for late in the a.m.

'WOW'....TWO SETS OF DOUBLE HEADED COWS:))
I was at my appointment early of course but didn't have long to wait after the initial Covid check-in.  Had been about 5 years since I last saw my main Nurse Practitioner.  She noticed right away my intentional weight loss.  My primary purpose for the appointment was to check out some things on my back that Kelly was concerned about.  Luckily, everything checked out alright and I was soon on my way.  A quick trip down around the Goderich harbor and I was on my way home.  I was missing my furry little Pal.

Brewed up a coffee, grabbed a piece of toast, and loaded up the Pheebs.  I didn't want her to miss out on her morning Jeep ride so we slipped into Bayfield and took ourselves for a walk in the cemetery.  An absolutely beautiful morning with big white puffy clouds in a deep blue sky.  It was cool enough for me to wear a long sleeve flannel shirt over my short sleeve shirt and 55F meant no humidity in the air.  Bonus:))

Home again it turned into another relaxing day.  There are some outside projects to be done but I guess I will just have to wait until I feel like doing them.  Maybe soon, maybe not never.

 'SWEET WILLIAM' IN OUR FLOWERBED

AND OUR DAY LILIES ARE IN BLOOM
GROANER'S CORNER:((    A boy was assigned a paper on childbirth and asked his parents, "How was I born?"  "Well honey..." said the slightly prudish parent, "the stork brought you to us."  "Oh," said the boy. "Well, how did you and daddy get born?" he asked.  "Oh, the stork brought us too."  "Well how were grandpa and grandma born?" he persisted.  "Well darling, the stork brought them too!" said the parent, by now starting to squirm a little in the Lazy Boy recliner.  Several days later, the boy handed in his paper to the teacher who read with confusion the opening sentence: "This report has been very difficult to write because there hasn't been a natural childbirth in my family for three generations."

  1. Glad you had a good NP visit, followed by good road trip and flower photos. If I were younger, I'd want to live on that "older boat." But I'd have to be pretty young...and adept at boat care and maintainance, and etc etc.....Still, it's a nice idea.

  2. Loved the photos of the cows. Felt like I could reach out and touch them. Good health appointments are a bonus.
