MANY ENJOYABLE HOURS

Nice to have Blogger working correctly again.  Sure throws a monkey wrench into my day without a blog to focus on.  Over the years my blog has morphed into something more important to me than I ever could have imagined.  When I first started out years ago I had no idea it would last this long or become as important to me as it has.  My triple hobbies of travel, photography, and writing, have given me many enjoyable hours over the years which I have been able to share with others along the way.  I have all my blog readers to thank for sticking with me through all my ups and downs and making my daily blog a success.

Not much going on this morning with Pheebs and I up to Goderich and back.  So nice to stand by the water's edge in the dog walking area and listen to Lake Huron waters lapping against large boulders along the newly constructed shoreline.

NICE TO SEE RV FOLKS MAKING USE OF THE PARKING AREA AT GODERICH'S NORTH HARBOR
JOGGING WITH KIDS ALONG THE NEW BOARDWALK
TAKING A PICTURE OF THE LITTLE ONE ON THE BENCH
BOARDWALK WORK CONTINUES
Heading home we stopped along Kitchigami Road for a wee walk in a cool forest.  In another six weeks or so our forests will erupt in a blaze of Autumn colors.  I am so much looking forward to that:))

NICE MORNING TO BE IN THE FOREST
SCOUTING ALONG THE TRAIL

A MONTH FROM NOW THIS GREEN CANOPY WILL BE CHANGING COLOR
SPOTTED THIS LARGE JURASSIC WOOD TORTOISE NIBBLING ON LOWER TREE LIMBS
Once again home I determined my energy levels were up to par so out came the lawnmower, weed whacker, and my pruning shears.  Worked away for close to an hour before the wretched humidity finally drove me inside.

I did add a photo of our Winnie to my post's side-bar under the heading 'Our Current Rig'.  I would like to get another coat of wax on it but will have to wait for cooler days which I am hoping are right around the corner.  Next month at this time we will already be bearing down on October.  I wonder if the Canada/US border will be open by then??  No doubt there are many thousands of others wondering about that as well and especially Canadian Snowbirds.

SPOTTED THIS LITTLE HUMMINGBIRD IN OUR FRONT YARD THIS AFTERNOON

THIS HUMMER SURE LIKED OUR HOSTA FLOWERS
GROANER'S CORNER:((  A man was just coming out of anesthesia after a series of tests in the hospital, and his wife was sitting at his bedside. His eyes fluttered open, and he murmured, "You're beautiful."  Flattered, the wife continued her vigil while he drifted back to sleep. Later, her husband woke up and said, "You're cute."  "What happened to 'beautiful?'" she asked him.  "The drugs are wearing off," he replied.

A company owner was asked a question, "How do you motivate your employees to be so punctual?"  He smiled & replied, "It's simple. I have 30 employees and 29 free parking spaces. One is paid parking."
