I'M REASONBLY SURE

OUR PARK'S POND
I seem to have got myself stuck in one of my temporary downtime blogging modes again.  Like all my other periodic writing blocks over the years, I'm reasonably sure this one will pass in a few short days.  In the meantime, Facebook today threw me a 2012 archive memory from 8 years ago on this day which I found relevant.  It's entitled, As Much As I Grumble And Complain Sometimes.  In this post, you will see a few photos of Bayfield's beach and what it once looked like with all its sand.  Below is how it looked this morning.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( I was ill and my husband volunteered to go to the supermarket for me. I sent him off with a carefully numbered list of seven items.  He returned shortly, very proud of himself, and proceeded to unpack the grocery bags. He had one bag of sugar, two cartons of eggs, three hams, four boxes of detergent, five boxes of crackers, six eggplants, and seven green peppers.

  1. They call it the "dog days of summer" for a reason and many folks are feeling kinda low these days with the heat of summer still persisting and all the social problems we have. These are tough days. But September is coming....

  2. WOW the beach sure has gotten smaller. I remember this happening in NJ many, many years ago. I only see occasional pictures now from one of my cousins her area seems to be OK.

  3. The water is rising, that's for sure! I remember how Judy solved her problem. Her wonderful brother came and took care of her. Hard to believe so much has happened in eight years. Hope you get over the hump pretty quickly. Thanks for keeping us updated; that provides our blog-fix!

  4. I read your post from 2012. Wow....so much sand. My husband wanted to RV full time but I said "no". I need the security of having a home base. And the home is close to our kids.
