sunday

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE REST OF MY POST !!!!#%&**!!&#
OKAY........WHEN YOU GET TO THE PHOTO OF THE BIG SHIP LOOK FOR THE WORDS 'READ MORE' AND CLICK THAT.  I HAVE NO IDEA WHY MY POST JUST DID THIS!!

If I told you amidst all this heat and humid weather I had to add a touch of heat in the Jeep Saturday morning you would think I was bonkers.  But it was true.  Not so much for Pheebs of course but definitely for me.  This temporary cool down is sure a welcome change.  Heat and humidity are predicted to return in a few days:((
THIS IS THE SAME SUNFLOWER FIELD I TOOK PHOTOS OF A FEW DAYS AGO....I HADN'T REALIZED IT WAS MUCH MORE THAN JUST AND ORDINARLY SUNFLOWER FIELD....I WENT BACK AND TOOK THIS PHOTO SATURDAY MORNING
Pheebs and I wandered up to Goderich this morning and checked out the harbor and beach areas, picked up a few groceries, and headed home.

SUNDAY MORNING STROLL ALONG THE LAKESHORE
SAY, YA DON'T SUPPOSE THAT'S CARLOS SANTANA OVER THERE DO YA??
After checking 'YouTube' Kelly came up with a spray bottle solution of one third 70% Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol and water which worked really great at getting the glue off the rig's windows so with the exception of the two small cap windows and side door window that project is pretty much complete.  Looking clearly through a window is something we all take for granted until, like us, you can't see clearly through the window!!
WE BOTH WORKED AT THE 'BLURRY WINDOW' PROJECT
KELLY FINISHES UP ON THE INSIDE WHILE I WENT AROUND AND CLEANED THE WINDOWS FROM THE OUTSIDE....NOTICE HOW CLEAR THE WINDOWS ARE NOW COMPARED TO BEFORE
WE JUST KEEP FINDING MORE ROOM ALL THE TIME
My next project today was to clean Little Winnie's roof.   It's not real bad but I just wanted to clean it up a bit anyway.  I will probably go over it one more time later on a cooler day.  At least now I can clean up the rig's exterior which is already in good shape but could use a wax job to sparkle it up.
WITH NO HOT SUNSHINE RAMPING UP THE HUNIDITY I WAS ABLE TO WASH THE RIG'S ROOF

THAT FRONT CAP SECTION WITH THE VENT IS ABOUT 4 INCHES LOWER THAN THE COACH BODY....I HAD NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE IN A CLASS C
IT'S EASY TO SEE HERE THE SECTION WHICH I HAVE WASHED AND THE SECTION I HAVEN'T
I DON'T THINK THE TV ANTENNAE HAD BEEN UP FOR AWHILE
LOOKING BETTER NOW UNDER THE ANTENNAE
DON'T BE FOOLED BY WHAT APPEARS TO BE A SQUEAKY CLEAN ROOF....IT IS NOT QUITE AS IT SEEMS
Yesterday July 11th my Aunt Jean way down there in that Sarasota Florida place celebrated her 93rd Birthday.  A few of her former golfing buddies were taking her out for dinner somewhere in Bradenton.  Jean and I talk every Friday night and I can tell you her mind is as sharp as a tack.  She's not as mobile as she once was but she can still mix it with the best of them with her little Toyota in Sarasota's manic traffic.  Her golfing days are behind her and she hasn't been out for her long morning walks for quite awhile but she is still able to water her flowers and pull a few weeds.  Two weeks ago she encountered a large aggressive black snake in her flowerbed but armed with a hoe she was able to convince Mr. Snake to retreat back into it's hole under her foundation.  Stay tuned, they may meet again..........

"Good crowd...good crowd. I'm telling you I could use a good crowd. I'm ok now but last week I was in rough shape... Why? I looked up my family tree and found out I was the sap."
"I come from a stupid family. During the Civil War my great Uncle fought for the west!"
"My father was stupid. He worked in a bank and they caught him stealing pens."
"When I was born the doctor came out to the waiting room and said to my father...I'm very sorry. We did everything we could...but he pulled through."
"My mother had morning sickness after I was born."
"My father carries around the picture of the kid who came with his wallet."
"When I played in the sandbox the cat kept covering me up."  "I could tell that my parents hated me. My bath toys were a toaster and a radio."
"What a dog I got. His favorite bone is in my arm!"

  2. Well, I read the same post twice, but when I clicked on "comments", I saw the cortoon I hadn't seen before; followed it up and discovered a whole post! Crazy, but I'm good with it! As to something different about a class c----both of ours had a water tank under a bench seat. It seems you got a break without that, Now all you need is a recliner for Al to sleep in, and you'll be ready to go.

  3. I love getting a new [to me] RV. I never look at an RV as ready to roll, I always see them as a blank canvas to be turned into something that fits my lifestyle. And consider customizing them as part of the fun.

  5. How did you go about cleaning the roof, what products did you use? Happy birthday to Aunt Jean. Great to hear she is doing well.

  6. Nice to see that picture of your "New" RV in your yard. Wish I had a yard big enough to park my RV. At least the storage lot where it resides is only a couple of miles away.
