PLEASANTLY DRIFTING IN AND OUT OF DREAMLAND

After expecting a nasty weather day what a pleasant surprise to spend both morning and afternoon under sunny skies with reasonable temperatures.  Pheebs and I even managed to get ourselves out for a wee walk east of Goderich.

BULRUSH REFLECTION WITH A RIPPLES
Disappointed to read Goderich's beaches will remain closed now until the end of July.  Had really been hoping they would open the road to Rotary Cove once the shoreline restoration work was done.
Finished up my little outside job at Monicas and took Pheebs for a walk around the pond.  With temps beginning to drop and cold winds picking up it was a short walk and we were soon home again whereupon I sunk myself into my soft sunroom recliner beside the warmth of our toasty fireplace.  Remained there for the rest of my afternoon with book in hand pleasantly drifting in and out of dreamland.
Thanks to all my readers again for being out there.................

GROANER'S CORNER:((  A friend was laid up at home with the flu. His fiancee called and volunteered to come over and fix dinner and play nursemaid to him. He declined, not wanting to pass on the flu to her. "Okay honey", she told him, "We'll wait till after we get married. Then we can spend the rest of our lives making each other totally sick!"

Aviator: First one wing came off and then the other.
Listener: What did you do?
Aviator: I grabbed a drumstick and had a second helping.
