I HAVE COME TO THE CONCLUSION MY LIFE IS FAR MORE EXCITING WHEN I'M SLEEPING

KELLY'S AFTERNOON TEA ON OUR FRONT PORCH
Another foggy start to the day.  Another nice morning with temps over 40F and another peaceful people free drive through our picturesque southwestern Ontario countryside.
FOGGY START TO OUR MORNING
Slipping through Bayfield first thing I noticed they are paving the approaches to the new temporary Bailey Bridge so I'm thinking it could be open for traffic very shortly.
PAVING THE SOUTH END APPROACH TO BAYFIELD'S  TEMPORARTY BAILEY BRIDGE
BRIDGE IS JUST AROUND THAT CURVE
NEWLY PAVED APPROACH LANE TO THE NORTH END OF THE BRIDGE WHICH IS TO THE LEFT
I NORMALLY USE 'SHORT HILL ROAD' TO BAYFIELD AND THE HARBOR BUT IT'S TEMPORARILY CLOSED
Very foggy down around the harbor with not a sole to be seen anywhere.  Not even any fishermen out on this cool damp morning.  Main street Bayfield was almost deserted and Pioneer Park is closed due to Covid-19.
PIONEER PARK IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A COUPLE WALKING THEIR TWO DOGS I WAS THE ONLY ONE ON BAYFIELD'S MAIN STREET
HERE'S A SIGN OF OUR TIMES I NOTICED IN FOODLAND'S PARKING LOT THIS MORNING
MY BEST PAL ALWAYS KEEPS A CLOSE EYE ON ME WHEN I AM OUTSIDE THE JEEP
Heading southeast out of Bayfield all was even quieter in the countryside.  A lone jogger was the only human I saw.  Couldn't even find any cows grazing in the mist.  No sheep and no horses.  I don't remember Scotty beaming me up but it was like I was on a different Planet.  And I liked that.
MISTY FARM LANE
Home again under overcast skies I later resigned myself to my sunroom recliner.  Read for maybe 20 minutes and I was once again off to la-la land.  I have come to the conclusion my life is far more exciting when I'm sleeping.  Upon waking I can remember only bits and pieces of where I have been in my dreams, what I have seen, and who I have met, but I do enjoy my bizarrely exciting travels and it is most always a joy to time warp inwardly through my mind meeting old friends some of whom have left this Planet many Moons ago.

A VERY YOUNG PRICKLY THISTLE BEGINNING IT'S TALL GROWTH
OUR SMALL CORKSCREW TREE STILL HAS LAST YEAR'S LEAVES ON IT
Also, when I woke up around 1 p.m. I was surprised to see the Sun shining brightly.  Skies had cleared while I dozed and we had us gorgeous afternoon going on.  Pheebs and I were soon out the door for an early afternoon walk.  Certainly am enjoying these beautiful early Spring days.
SPOTTED A COUPLE BABY 'PAINTED TURTLES' IN OUR PARK'S POND
EVEN SNAILS WERE OUT SUNNING THEMSELVES THIS AFTERNOON
Due to cloudy skies along with late evening thunderstorms and heavy rains I didn't get to see or take any photos of April's full Moon Tuesday night.  Skies are looking promising for tonight so we'll see if it stays clear.  Update:: Cloud cover moved back in.  No Moon photos.
NOW HOW'S THAT FOR AN INQUISITIVE LOOK EH:))
GROANER'S CORNER:(( In the men's room at work, the Boss had placed a sign directly above the sink. It had a single word on it -- "Think!"  The next day, when he went to the men's room, he looked at the sign and right below, immediately above the soap dispenser, someone had carefully lettered another sign which read -- "Thoap!"

Delta Airlines recently introduced a special half-fare rate for wives accompanying their husbands on business trips.Anticipating some valuable testimonials, the publicity department of the airline sent out letters to all the wives of businessmen who had used the special rates, asking how they enjoyed their trip.  Responses are still pouring in asking, "What trip?"

  2. Beautiful foggy morning. At least in photos:)) I'm hoping the roads east are just as sparce as I head home next week. The painted turtle seemed to be content floating in the little pond. Great photo of Kelly taking in the day on the porch. Take care.
