What a difference a doze can make.  Lost my whole afternoon today when shortly after 1 p.m. I came in for a rest from a couple yard projects.  Tipped my recliner back for a few minutes and when I opened them again today's sunshine had been replaced by a combination of rain and snow.  It was nearly 5 p.m. and my whole afternoon was lost.  But oh my, the places I traveled to again while I was asleep.

At least this morning was more productive for Pheebs and I when in Goderich we stopped to pick up a pre-ordered food order at M&M Meats for our good neighbor Monica.  Monica is nearly at the end of her 14 day self isolation since returning from Florida nearly a couple weeks ago.  She said as soon as her quarantine period is over she's gonna go out, jump into her car, and take herself for a drive.

Before departing the Goderich area we took ourselves for a nice morning walk east of town where I knew a small pond to be.  Skies were a deep blue with lots of morning sunshine.  And a lot of water puddles after our overnight rain.

SO NICE TO SEE FARMER'S FIELDS GREENING UP

IF ONLY I HADN'T SPENT MY LAST $1.25 ON A CUP OF COFFEE I COULD HAVE USED IT AS A DOWNPAYMENT ON THIS AREA FARM WHICH JUST SOLD FOR NEARLY $600.000

WELL THAT'S TOO BAD:((

Already past the first week of April our eventful year is moving right along.  Who ever thought a year ago at this time we would all be in the state we are now in.  However, I must admit our state here is nothing like what many other people are experiencing.  Were it not for TV, radio, or the internet we would  be hard pressed to notice any difference.  Aside from less traffic, less people out and about on the streets, and the occasional grocery store line-ups, most everything still appears about the same as usual.

WELL THIS IS THAT SPOT AND WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE NOW

LOOK CLOSELY AND YOU WILL NOTICE A SLIGHT COLORING OF THE TREES AS BUDS BEGIN TO FORM....OF COURSE THOSE ARE THE TOWERING SNOW CAPPED BAYFIELD MOUNTAINS IN THE BACKGROUND,,,YA RIGHT:))

GROANER'S CORNER:(( The after-dinner speaker just didn't have a Stop button. He burbled on and on and on, oblivious to his increasingly restless audience. Finally one of the more drunken diners hurled an empty wine bottle at him. It missed, and hit the Chairman instead.  As the Chairman slid slowly to the floor clutching his head, he was heard to murmur, "Hit me again, I can still hear him."
