  2. My grandfather used to say if we didn't have bad days, how would we know when we're having a good one?

  4. You are so right Al. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with the downs, but the alternative is much worse. I called Solar Mike today and waiting on a return call. Hope he does. I'm going to bite the bullet and take care of my power problems once and for all! With lots of solar power!

  6. The downs allow us to really appreciate the ups. So true.

  7. Hi Al! The other day when you mentioned you were reading, I wanted to ask, are you reading about war again? I know you've said you like to read that kind of stuff, but it's still about WAR. I would find that to be depressing. Hope it's not the case and that you are reading about other things more uplifting and inspiring. Hope you have a good weekend and get some sunshine!

  8. Hi Al, I wish you would post a photo of the furry Highland cattle again.! They are much cuter to look at than this graph thing. Anyway, I miss you & reading your blog - it makes my morning coffee so much sweeter. 🎃

  10. Thinking of you both. In all honesty, it seems to me, the older we get the tougher life is. Wishing more ups than downs for us all. Actually I'll be OK if things could just stay in the middle.
