ANOTHER FINE DAY OF BEAUTIFUL AUTUMN COLORS

A big bright sunny day here and not a cloud in the sky this morning.  Despite a frost over night the day soon warmed up to somewhere around 50F.

NO THIS STRAW BALE IS NOT ON FIRE IT'S THE MORNING SUN'S WARMING RAYS MEETING THE COLD OVERNIGHT'S MORNING DEW ON THE BALE
SUNLIGHT REFLECTING IN THE CAMERA LENS GAVE THIS PHOTO A PURPLE HUE
LOOKS LIKE THIS FARMER ALMOST GOT ALL HIS CORN HARVESTED BUT THEN THE RAINS CAME
A perfect morning for a Jeep ride in the countryside and a walk in the Hullett Marsh.  Oh if only it would stay like this all winter but I've already noticed some of the bush lines are losing their colors as late October leaves are dropping to the ground.  Soon the gray days of November will be here and our colorful rural landscape will be stripped bare of it's Autumn beauty.
WE'RE IN THE HULLETT MARSH
Spent some time on the end of my leaf blower and leaf rake this afternoon.  Pine needles and leaves are easier to work with now in the Fall instead of the Spring after snow and ice has ground them further into the ground.  These are magic days right now.
MADE IT TO ONE OF OUR FAVORITE SPOTS IN THE MARSH
SHE'S MY 'BROWN EYED GIRL'
It's been a slow process but I think my bladder is slowly returning to normal.  I may be up once or twice in the night and that is a whole lot better than five and six times like a couple weeks ago.  And during the day I am no longer constantly on the run like I was.
SOME OF THESE BUSH LINE TREES HAVE ALREADY LOST THEIR LEAVES
Boogs and I had us a nice afternoon walk around the Park's Pine tree trail.  It is so nice in the forest now with all the leaves giving off an Autumn glow.  I could hear the sounds of Robins in the woods as they gather for their flight south shortly.  I have heard them before at this time of year in the same place in the forest.
AND I DEDICATE THESE MORNING GOLF COURSE PHOTOS TO MY AUNT JEAN IN SARASOTA FLORIDA:))

Supper tonight consisted of Kellogg's Mini-Wheats and Harvest Crunch topped with a sliced banana.  Might not work for you but it sure works quite nicely for me:))
GROANER'S CORNER:((  After both Paddy and Mick were both laid off they went to the unemployment office.
When asked his occupation, Paddy answered, "Knicker Stitcher..  I  sew da elastic onto ladies' knickers and thongs."
The clerk looked up Knicker Stitcher on his computer and finding it classified as unskilled labour, he gave him £80 a week unemployment pay.
Mick was next in and when asked his occupation replied, "Diesel Fitter."
Since a Diesel Fitter was a skilled job, the clerk gave Mick £160 a week.
When Paddy found out he was furious.    He stormed back into the office to find out why his friend and co-worker was collecting double his pay.
The clerk explained, "Knicker Stitchers are unskilled labour and Diesel Fitters are skilled labour."
"What skill?" yelled Paddy, "I sew da elastic on da knickers and thongs, then Mick puts 'em over his head and says, 'Yep, diesel fitter'! "

- Did you here about the guy who lost his whole left side? He's alright now!

- A beggar walks up to a well dressed woman on the street. He says, "I haven't eaten anything in four days." She looks at him and says, "I wish I had your willpower."

  1. Always great pictures, nice fall colors, but the reflections on the Hullett Marsh are post card material.
