STILL LOOKING

We haven't stopped looking for another RV.  The search continues but next time it has to be the absolute right one for us.  Not too big on the outside but about an acre of room on the inside.  I wonder what our chances are of finding what we are looking for.

GROANER'S CORNER:((  It was election time and the politician decided to go out to thelocal reservation and try to get the Native American vote. They were all assembled in the Council Hall to hear the speech. The politician had worked up to his finale, and the crowd wasgetting more and more excited."I promise better education opportunities for Native Americans!"The crowd went wild, shouting "Hoya! Hoya!".The politician was a bit puzzled by the native word, but wasencouraged by their enthusiasm."I promise gambling reforms to allow a Casino on the Reservation!""Hoya! Hoya!" cried the crowd, stomping their feet."I promise more social reforms and job opportunities for NativeAmericans!"The crowd reached a frenzied pitch shouting "Hoya! Hoya! Hoya!"After the speech, the Politician was touring the Reservation, andsaw a tremendous herd of cattle. Since he was raised on a ranch, and knew a bit about cattle, he asked the Chief if he could get closerto take a look at the cattle."Sure," the Chief said, "but be careful not to step in the hoya..."

  1. I was disappointed that you were disappointed with the Freedo Vandito, because it seemed like a nice rig. Perhaps it didn't provide the PERCEPTION of space because the space in those Class Bs is chopped into smaller spaces and have too many internal doors and overhead cabinets that make them seem claustrophobic if you are halfway tall.

I think you would FEEL spacious if the cube of space was kept a single uncluttered cube of space.

  2. Great that you are still looking and enjoying the search. I hope the perfect one shows up for you and Kelly. And thanks for the updates on little red over the summer.

  3. Pheebs is such a great companion. She is waiting for you. Those yellow and green plants are a good background for her photo. The photo of the grasses sparkling in the sun with dark sky is my favorite. RVs are always a compromise decision. It is like buying the "blue plate" special. There is something on the plate you don't like. Good luck on your quest.

  4. I LOVE the photo of Pheebs in all that yellow. Old Man and I are watching a Columbo show. Dick Van Dyke is a photographer. The statement was made that a good photographer is born with the talent. I immediately thought of you, and, yes, you sure have it. And how lucky are we that you share it with us.
About the RV. You and Kelly are like the two of us. Absolutely necessary to have separate space for each of you. That is what you are looking for. A small vehicle that still provides that. I hope you find it, and sooner rather than later!

  6. The proper scientific name for a grackle with a white tail feather is "leucistic or partial albinism", look it up.

  8. Keep looking and you will find one eventually Our 23foot class C was perfect for us when we moved up from the class B, Just not enough storage for us to go full time.

  9. The curse of the full-timing RV world is that some RVs are small enough to be fun to drive, but too small to live in, and some RVs are big enough to live in but not so much fun to drive.

My choices were narrowed down by wanting my home separate from my transportation, and not wanting to have to deal with a toad.

But the good thing about RVs is there so many different shapes and sizes there's something for everyone no matter what kind of lifestyle you want to live. It all comes down to what kind of compromises you're willing to deal with.
