NEW MOWN HAY

Cruising slowly through the countryside this morning it was the smell of new mown hay in the air that made my day.  Farmers have been busy cutting, raking, and baling.  Living in a rural farming community like we do we see many changes in the numerous fields over late Spring, Summer, and early Autumn.  We truly live in a land of vibrant growth both in flora and fauna and with crops continually growing the landscape is constantly changing.  And I enjoy watching that kind of change.
A RECENTLY SEEDED FIELD
About the only constructive thing I accomplished today was cutting along the road edge out front with our battery powered Yorx mower.  Had to get that done in the cooler morning hours before today's heat and miserable humidity settled in.  Been doing a lot of reading lately and with hotter temperatures upon us now I'm sure my reading will increase as I spend more afternoon hours inside staying comfortably cool.
AROUND THE CORNER FROM OUR PARK STANDS THIS BARN.....NOT SURE IF THE NEW OWNERS ARE TEARING IT DOWN OR REPLACING THE OLD BARN BOARDS WITH NEW ONES
Kelly, Pheebs, and I will all be up extra early and into the Jeep Thursday morning heading for my postrate biopsy which is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. I will likely be the first one on the table for the day.

GROANER'S CORNER:((  A little boy walked up to home plate in an empty baseball field, with his bat and ball in hand.  As he threw the ball up in the air, he proclaimed, "I am the greatest ball player ever!" He swung with all his might, but missed.  He did the same thing and missed again.  He picked up the ball, tossed it up one more time, said "I am the greatest ball player in the world!" Then he swung and missed again.  "Wow!" he said. "What a great pitcher I am!"

I was arrested the other day for stealing people’s electrons. I was heavily charged, despite my victims saying it was an overall positive experience.

Man: "Do you know how much it is to rent a church singing group?
Priest: "My son, do you mean a choir?  Man: "Fine Father, do you know how much it is to acquire a church singing group?"

  5. I saw the hay windrows and thought that is early and then realized June is almost gone. Spring zoomed by for me. We are having a week of hot days 78 to 80 and very low humidity. Hope that test shows your prostate is good for another 30 years.
