A PASSIVE MORNING AND A LITTLE MORE INFO ON OUR PARK SALE

MONDAY EVENING I TOOK PHEEBS FOR A DRIVE DOWN AROUND THE BAYFIELD HARBOR TO SEE A SILVERY LAKE HURON
It was the Strawberry Moon I saw peeking through our tall pines Sunday night and I was wishing Pheebs and I had driven out into the countryside to watch it come up.  Maybe tonight if skies clear today.  (Skies didn't clear)

No Sun this morning but no matter as I brewed myself up a road coffee before heading out.  We made straight away for the countryside where I soon became aware how still the day was.  No wind and their seemed to be a passive calmness in the air.  I willingly embraced that calmness and let it settle into my mind.

Each morning I wake up I have no idea in what direction my mind is going to lead me or in what mood or mode it will saddle me with.  I just have to kind of follow along trying to understand where it thinks it's going and why.  Not an easy task most days.
With a number of things going at the moment I found myself turning inward again looking for answers.  It's another stage of life I am at now and the trappings of youth and middle age have long fallen away.  My mind works differently than back then and that adjustment these past few years has been a challenge.  Life is kind of like a rocket launch with it's different booster stages carrying the rocket through it's sequences from lift off to it's final orbital destination.  With the last Senior booster rocket having fired I feel I am steadily being thrust into the early stages of orbital transition.  Destination is still unknown just like it has always been for me.
WHEN I WAS A KID WE CALLED THIS 'FROG SPIT'....I WONDER IF SOME OF TODAY'S KIDS EVEN KNOW WHAT A FROG IS
Occasionally catching rare glimpses now and again into the unknown mists ahead I find my mind searching for the realities of truth and honesty but do not have the trust in my fellow man to tell me a truth that he himself does not understand.  I feel strongly there is something else in those eddying mists and it's a truth far beyond man's understanding.
Pheebs and I did manage a short walk earlier today but with temperatures warming and a bit of humidity in the air the Mosquito population was out in full force making walking unpleasant.   Well at least where we like to walk anyway.
'HEY DAD DON'T FORGET TO PET THE DOG OVER HERE'
AHHHHHHHHH:))
CATCHING A FEW 'ZZZZZZZZZ'S' ALONG THE WAY
There has been no sign of 'Little Red' on the bird feeder for about a week now so I am officially after three months of frustrating battle declaring 'Victory'.  The little Red Squirrels are still running around in our front yard but now they are at least finally behaving themselves.
I still haven't heard anymore about our possible Park sale but then again with my Hermit like ways here I haven't been out and about talking to anyone either.  Kelly phoned yesterday and we talked about it but until we know for sure what's going on we will just have to sit tight and wait to see what all shakes out.  Update:: After talking with fellow RV'er and Park resident Chris this afternoon here's what I found out.......Yes our Five Seasons Park is officially sold with the new owners taking over June 24th.  We will be going over the new lease agreement and paperwork a week from today with a representative from the new numbered company.  We hear the new owner has two similar Parks with one being in the Renfrew area near Ottawa.  Also heard the new owner is a Mother and two daughters.  Somehow I find that reassuring...…………….
IT'S BEEN QUITE A FOOD ADVENTURE AROUND HERE THIS WEEK
GROANER'S CORNER:(( Two neighbors living in New York’s stockbroker belt were discussing how they had made their respective fortunes. One said, “When I came here from Mexico three years ago, all I had was the boots on my feet and a sack on my back. Look at me now: a $10 million house, a $3 million penthouse apartment, three classic cars worth $1 million each, a yacht worth $3 million, and $5 million in the bank.”  “That’s amazing,” said his neighbor. “Tell me, what was in the sack?”  “Twenty-four million dollars.”

After 11 snoozes into the Monday alarm clock you begin wondering if the $38 left in your bank account will do you for the rest of your life if you quit your job.

  2. You know how I like space-related things, Al. Your rocket metaphor in relation to aging is priceless. 😊🚀
