WE WOKE UP TO A WINTER WONDERLAND

IT'S KELLY....ALIAS 'LITTLE BLACK RIDING HOOD'
With our outside world looking like a winter wonderland this morning I couldn't see staying inside so Pheebs and I headed out to have us a little buzz around the neighborhood and take in the snowy sights.

Thanks to readers for their Birthday wishes on  Kelly's birthday Saturday.

We were saddened this morning to read on Janna's Blog about the passing of a mutual RV friend of ours.  Beverly Deem passed away a couple weeks ago in Idaho.  Bev and her husband Jim led the way on 5 different rumbling off-road Jeep rides for Kelly and I and others through the mountains and deserts around Congress Arizona a few years ago.  Bev was just the sweetest soft spoken person even back then when she was battling Raynaud's Disease.  I have a number of posts where Bev and Jim appear in so if you type Jim and Bev into our 'Search' bar near the top of my blog's right hand column it should bring up some of those Jeep rides, etc.  Thinking of and remembering you Bev and thanks for organizing and pulling all those great Jeep rides together.  And thanks for being the cheery positive person you always were.

More snow on and off during the day but as I type this tonight patches of blue sky are beginning to appear overhead and temps have come up a bit with sunshine predicted for Monday.
STILL GREAT WEATHER FOR MAKING MAPLE SYRUP

CLEARING SKIES ALLOW SUNDAY EVENING SUNSHINE THROUGH THE PINES
GROANER'S CORNER:((  A three-year-old boy went with his dad to see a new litter of Labrador puppies. On returning home, he breathlessly informed his mother, "There were three boy Labrador puppies and four girl Labrador puppies."  "How did you know that?" his mother asked.
"Daddy picked them up and looked underneath," he replied. "I think it is printed on their bottoms.

- Darn!! My neighborhood barber just got arrested for selling drugs! I've been his customer for 4 years, but I had no idea he was a barber.

- Did you know that marriage is a relationship in which one person is always right, and the other is a husband.

A farmer was milking his cow. He was just starting to get a good rhythm going when a bug flew into the barn and started circling his head. Suddenly, the bug flew into the cow's ear. The farmer didn't think much about it, until the bug squirted out into his bucket. It went in one ear and out the udder.

  2. Looks so pretty from here, hope that is all out of the system in 9 days. Always sad to hear the passing of fellow river's and acquaintances. And we have lost a few.

  3. I'm lagging behind. Belated Happy Birthday Kelly.
I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your friend.
I'll bet this is the last snow of the season. One last snow to take away all the other snow. If we keep thinking that maybe it'll happen.
