LITTLE DID I KNOW SHE WAS RUNNING ALONG BEHIND THE JEEP SHOUTING ‘DAD DAD WAIT FOR ME’

TONIGHT’S PHOTOS ARE ALL ABOUT BLUE JAYS

With me in the driver’s seat and clear bright sunny skies leading our way it was another fine morning for Richard and I to once again slide through the countryside on a pleasantly cool pre-Autumn morning.  As always, we had lots to talk about.  With recent rains area bean and corn fields were looking particularly lush.

Not a whole lot going on this afternoon.  With the Sun out it got a little too warm for me so I had no desire to scale any more rooftop mountains today.  Pheebs gets her blue thread stitches out in the morning so we will all be heading to the Vets in Zurich shortly after eight.  I could take Pheebs to the Vet myself but I know Kelly doesn't trust me to remember everything the Vet might tell me regarding any further meds or treatments.  I'm almost inclined to believe she just might be right.

Unbeknownst to me when Richard and I pulled out of our driveway this morning we had a little doggy running along down the road behind the Jeep.  Kelly and Pheebs were just returning from their walk when Pheebs heard the Jeep start up and saw it pull out the driveway without her.  Kelly said it was the saddest thing as Pheebs ran trying desperately to catch up to the Jeep but the Jeep just kept on going.  'Dad Dad wait for me'.  Of course soon as Richard and I had piled into the Jeep we were both chattering away about 350 miles and hour and I simply failed to see the little black doggy running along behind us trying to catch up.  Kelly said it was so sad to see Pheebs finally stop up the road, turn around, and slowly walk back home with her head down.

GROANER'S CORNER:((  A little boy greeted his grandmother with a hug and said, "I'm so happy to see you, Grandma. Now maybe Daddy will do the trick he has been promising us.  "The grandmother was curious. "What trick is that my dear?" she asked.  The little boy replied, "I heard Daddy tell Mommy that he would climb the walls if you came to visit us again."

A wife and husband both talked in their sleep. She loved auctions; his hobby was golf. The other night, as they slept, the golfer yelled, "Fore!" His wife yelled back, "Four and a quarter !"

- Why do people keep running over a thread a dozen times with their vacuum cleaner, then reach down, pick it up, examine it, then put it down to give the vacuum one more chance?
