A BLOOMING ROSE FROM OUR BACK YARD
GROANER’S CORNER:(( There was this little guy sitting in a bar, drinking his beer, minding his own business when all of a sudden this great big dude comes in and -- WHACK!! -- knocks him off the bar stool and onto the floor. The big dude says, "That was a karate chop from Korea." The little guy thinks "GEEZ," but he gets back up on the stool and starts drinking again when all of a sudden -- WHACK!! -- the big dude knocks him down AGAIN and says, "That was a judo chop from Japan." So the little guy has had enough of this... He gets up, brushes himself off and quietly leaves. The little guy is gone for an hour or so when he returned. Without saying a word, he walks up behind the big dude and -- WHAM!!!" -- knocks the big dude off his stool, knocking him out cold!!! The little guy looks at the bartender and says, "When he gets up, tell him that's a crowbar from Sears.

As many others have indicated, I sincerely enjoy your blog. Your photographs are lovely and definitely an important aspect of your publication. More so I enjoy just reading and learning about the every day aspect of your lives. I am curious about the people, culture, farming, commerce, plant and animal life from all parts of our planet. Your blog brings that to life in a down home ...front porch swing...way. I am NOT an RVer nor do I ever intend to be so although I appreciate the knowledge about that lifestyle that accompanies this blog, that is certainly not what keeps me reading. I wish you and your family joy, just as you have given so many of your readers. I read to escape to parts unknown and hope to continue to do so without disrupting your peace and tranquility.

Please carry on blogging. It would be greatly missed. Perhaps your view count has gone down recently because I can see the entire blog within the e-mail updates that are sent, without needing to click the link to your actual website? I don't know how these things work. Just thought that might make a difference?
