WE ARE STILL HAVING BLOG PROBLEMS SO THIS POST IS KIND OF A TEST TONIGHT

MORNING WALK

Kelly worked a long time this morning on the ‘403’ error problem that prevented Wednesday’s post from publishing.  After a frustrating time she simply copy and pasted the whole post pictures and all into a new ‘Open Live Writer’ and that worked but we still don’t know what caused the error message in the first place or if it’s even fixed.  i also noticed the post structure was not the same way I had set it up when it posted this morning.  I’m going to write a short post tonight with only a few point and shoot photos and see what happens.

EVEN WITHOUT IT’S LEAVES THE GREEN BARK OF THE PALO VERDE TREE STILL GIVES IT A LIGHT OLIVE COLOR

Nice warm sunny day and we hung out around the coach.  Sure are enjoying all the peace and quiet.  Except for an occasional vehicle going by slowly on Darby Well road or maybe a jet flying by once and awhile high overhead the air is so quietly still it’s hard to believe there is a a whole world of human noise going on out there.

I did crawl up on the roof this morning and clean our 4 solar panels and 2 skylights which were all very dirty.  Probably my last trip up there for awhile since I noticed one of the ladder’s anchor points to the coach is broken.

DON’T KNOW IF THIS IS FIXABLE OR WE NEED A WHOLE NEW LADDER

Cheryl Ann asked if we were going to Congress Arizona and my answer to that is that we have no plans to head on up that way as of yet.  We just spent 5 years enjoying that great area in the winter months so maybe we will give it a rest for a couple years before wandering back that way sometime in the future.

Okay so let’s see if this post will publish!!

YES THERE IS A KELLY IN THIS PHOTO

GROANER’S CORNER:(( Farmer John lived on a quiet rural highway. But, as time went by, the traffic slowly built up at an alarming rate. The traffic was so heavy and so fast that his chickens were being run over at a rate of three to six a day.  So one day Farmer John called the sheriff's office and said, "You've got to do something about all of these people driving sofast and killing all of my chickens."  "What do you want me to do?" asked the sheriff.  "I don't care, just do something about those crazy drivers!" So the nextday he had the county workers go out and erected a sign that said:SLOW--SCHOOL CROSSING
Three days later Farmer John called the sheriff and said, "You've got todo something about these drivers. The 'school crossing' sign seems to make them go even faster."  So, again, the sheriff sends out the county workers and they put up a newsign: SLOW: CHILDREN AT PLAY
That really sped them up. So Farmer John calledand called and called every day for three weeks. Finally, he asked the sheriff, "Your signs are doing no good. Can I put up my own sign?" The sheriff told him, "Sure thing, put up your own sign." He was going to let the Farmer John do just about anything in order to get him to stop calling everyday to complain.  The sheriff got no more calls from Farmer John.Three weeks later, curiosity got the best of the sheriff and he decided togive Farmer John a call. "How's the problem with those drivers. Did youput up your sign?"   "Oh, I sure did. And not one chicken has been killed since then. I've got to go. I'm very busy." He hung up the phone.  The sheriff was really curious now and he thought to himself, "I'd better go out there and take a look at that sign... itmight be something that WE could use to slow down drivers..." So the sheriff drove out to Farmer John's house, and his jaw dropped the moment he saw thesign. It was spray-painted on a sheet of wood:
NUDIST COLONY
GO SLOW AND WATCH OUT FOR THE CHICKS

Teacher: Today, we're going to talk about the tenses. Now, if I say "I am beautiful", which tense is it?   Student: Obviously it is the past tense.

  2. Yay. Published. Nothing more frustrating that blogger problems when on the road. Nice to see the view from the top of your rig, Al. Nice to see the sunshine. We are getting geared up and ready for our southern sojourn this year, I can hardly wait.

  3. Your groaner today is excellent. I love it when something makes me laugh out loud!

I notice blogger is publishing posts as well as comments much more slowly the past week or two. Why can't they just leave it alone when it's working well - no doubt they are "tweaking" it. Gotta keep the developers busy.

  4. Have been enjoying your photos and the groaners are always good.
The ladder is easily repaired, you need a tube nut https://www.ebay.com/i/161392027436?chn=ps
and a bolt to match. Remove the mounting plate, put the new bolt thru from the back side, start the nut on the bolt, then insert the nut and bolt into the tube and tighten.

I repaired our ladder the same way as Mike says easy to do and good as new again.

  7. I hate it when I have blogger problems. Luckily, they don't happen often.

    Enjoy your solitude.

  8. We are having massive problems with Open Live Writer and don't get an answer from them. Lots of error messages, new OLW download does not even open and Google throwing an "API exception" notice.
